But the cancellation itself was the right call, not a mistake: your booking application stated that you didn't plan to take any action on your career — and the Career Assessment is a working session reserved for leaders actively pursuing their next move. By your own answers, it would have had no value for you.

Canceling was meant to save your time, not waste it — the alternative was holding a meeting we already knew would be pointless for you. That's why the cancellation email explained the reason and included free resources. And when you shared your frustration, we re-opened your original slot that same hour and invited you to join anyway; you chose not to.

For context, the session was booked three days before it took place. We've since tightened our process: applications are now reviewed within a day of booking, so anyone whose session isn't a fit hears from us right away rather than close to the call.
