Self is a good credit Builder if you want to start building credit I have been with Self for 2 years after this year will be my last year it has been a good experience for me it helped me build my credit

It does everything it said it could do, my credit score has risen a lot. I signed up for another account.

Because of networking issues or security issues perverted me from making some payments on time. Due to technical error there were times I had issues login in and that causes delays in payments because I can’t sit on a phone all day and wait on technology while life is going

It seems like the company really has the entire credit system figured out.

Horrible company the whole thing is a scam to fill their pockets with your money. They make it appear like they are going to build up your credit and give you a credit line. You send them money believing that you are going to get a credit line and a savings. They take your money and immediately charge you interest on your savings, yes I mean charge you interest, take money from you not give you interest like a proper savings does, in addition they charge you an annual fee immediately on what is supposed to be a credit line and it’s not it’s just the money you foolishly give them thinking it’s a credit line! This should not even be legally allowed and I hope I at least can save a few others from this scam!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!

They were very rude and insensitive to the fact that cancelling my card due to fraud which I was fine with but it would leave me in a financial bind for my birthday and knowing I had children so I simply asked if they could expedite my new card then told me no they don’t do that said I’d get it in 10-15 days and hung up the phone
