well, the staffs are accommodating and acted professionally. they make things easy for customers.

I find the facility clean, neat and easily accessible. I have a problem reaching the office from time to time. I get the answering service or main office. There is not always someone in the office at Sheridan and Sheffield. I have called on a few occasions and not received a return call for a few days. That has been a problem when I have had to change credit cards for paying my monthly bill.

Back loading dock is very dark. Garage door broken, along with other storage doors there. It is HOT (not warm) in the storage unit area--heat is blasting! It's clean, but I personally saw rodents entering where the broken garage door is. Staff does the best they can with what they have.

Great facility and location. Would have received 5 stars if they ran a vacuum more by the units and cleaned/ dusted more often. Also my unit increased by 29%. I can understand 10-15% inline with economic inflation but 29% is appalling and I am currently looking at other options for storage.

So far I have no comment the service is great.

I submitted my vacate papers on the day I was moving out and told I had until 10pm to vacate. I returned at 6pm, and my code had already been disabled. I left for vacation the next day so could not vacate for 2 weeks, and your Wrigleyville manager fought me for a week before she granted me access and dropped the additional rental fee.
I NEED ANOTHER RENTAL NEXT MONTH. PLEASE PROVIDE A DISCOUNT.

Great place to store your stuff. Clean and temp controlled.

Everything from finding and securing a unit (including setting up billing and insurance), to actual storage during the summer, (it was for our college student while she was home here in CO for the summer), to move-out day, the final check-out, went so smoothly and seamlessly. The front desk staff members are FANTASTIC - professional, friendly, efficient - keep up the great work! Should we need to store things again, we'll be back. A couple more things: The security and climate controlled environment are/were also excellent.

Customer service is abysmal. Mice got into my boxes. Do not give your people your money.

Ciera Humphrey at the desk was excellent in assisting me during the move out process. She worked quickly and efficiently when providing me with the paperwork to fill out in order to move out of my unit. She was very clear and articulate on the terms of the move out and the refund process. The best service I could have received during this process. I would recommend anyone to use Self Storage 1 in the future, especially with Ciera running the desk.

I have used this facility two different times. The most recent time, I only was supposed to use it for 6-9 months and then life happened and it was 3 years later!

Staff is helpful.

Location is good because there is little traffic in front of the loading bays, as well as enough parking in front if the bays are occupied.

I liked having off-hours that I could go in the facility.

Easy to pay with online portal and recurring payments.

The workers at this location are always flexible and are constantly working for the best experience for the customer. I've rented their storage spaces multiple times and I will always plan to rent spaces here.

I needed to store my belongings for a month in between moves and self storage 1 did the job. Good rates and a secure building. Would recommend
