Takes your passwords, spreads across networks and just awful. Uninstall as fast as possible.

I have tried to contact Senso multiple times asking for clarification on these issues, to no response, likely because they know what they are doing is illegal. Therefore, I have decided that I will warn others not to purchase this software or use it.

Firstly, I would like to address the software's screen viewing feature. A teacher, school administrator, or anyone in school can remote in to your computer, and see what is on your screen. This is spying, especially when you may have sensitive data on your screen.

Furthermore, this software can log your keystrokes. This is a clear definition of spyware, and is HIGHLY illegal. Your keystrokes are logged in a database somewhere in the world (hopefully in the country you are in, otherwise that would also be illegal), which may include personal messages, passwords, verification codes, etc. WARNING: do not enter passwords on a school device. This software could steal your passwords!

Also, your device can be taken over by anyone on your network, which means they can go through all of your files, documents, etc. They market this as being able to help students without leaving your desk, but isn't this just promoting non-verbal communication, which is what we as a human race are trying to avoid?

Next, I would like to touch on how detrimental this could be if this tool fell into the wrong hands/be hacked. If this tool was abused by bad actors who managed to gain access to all of the networks senso software operates on, then quite frankly you would have to throw the whole server in the bin and start again, because there is no coming back from that. So much personal data could be harvested from students computers (which may I remind you are more often than not, minors), which could be used to harm students/other users of senso.

Moreover, I would like to talk about how this software is marketed. Senso is marketed about being about 'protecting students' and 'safeguarding', but there is a very fine line between 'protecting' and 'safeguarding' and spying and violating people's privacy and human rights. I believe that senso is teetering on the edge of violating people's privacy and human rights.

Finally, I would like to talk about the website blocking tools. Personally, I think that website blocking is a very good tool and can be used for good to protect people, but senso takes it way too far. Normally the attitude you want is you block websites that you know are a problem, whereas what senso seems to do is block everything and wait until someone complains. This is taken to the point where the internet just becomes unusable. After that, there is no point, and you might as well just not bother with the internet at all.

Thank you for reading, as this was a word of warning to anyone thinking about getting this software: IT IS SPYWARE. Don't trust it. Go with something else. And never get software that spies on users.

terrible experience. blocked everything educational.

A bad website, highly not recommended. It blocks everything including educational websites. Limits what you can do on certain websites and blocks websites with educational games. Horrible.
