We canceled our plan with them and they scammed us out of our money anyways. Please do not fool with these ppl they are not to be delt with

Unfortunately, I fell for this scam. I was at a low point and reached out to forth for a debt consolidation loan. They said I didn't qualify for the loan but they could help me with a payoff/reduction plan. I was hooked when the guy on the phone, Jason, indicated I would be debt free in 2 years. I trusted they were settling my debts but 3 years into the plan, they'd only settled one. I ended giving them around $20000 to pay off a $6000 debt. I believe they hook you by immediately settling one creditor to make it look like the plan will be effective and then just syphon money from you. My combined total debt was around $20000. I could have paid it in full on my own. 3 years later, my credit is ruined and I had to withdraw from my 401k to settle the other debts. Please do not fall for this. Work directly with your creditors. This company will just make your situation worse and cost you thousands. Good luck with your credit journey and steer clear of Forth.

I guess I was another victim of this company. I wish I would’ve read the reviews. I hope everyone else has a chance to read these reviews. These people are crooks. All the fees and stuff that you have to pay is a bunch of BS. They just gonna want more money out of you at the end of it. I wish I would’ve found out sooner than later about how messed up these people wore whoever works here there’s a special place for you. Go get a better job and actually help people if you ever wanna deal with the credit card company deal with them directly never go with one of these companies like this. They’re a bunch of crooks ended up paying $6184 for a credit card that I only owed five grand on.

The company will lie to you deceive you their monthly fees was over $211 a month for me they don't pay the people you owe in a timely fashion tthereforeeverything goes into a collection agency the people there are so rude so when I went to go cancel they charged me over 313$I had $428 in my account when I canceled they only reimbursed me $100 saying the rest was theirs for the work they didn't do the woman I talked to was just so rude disgusting human being you're so goal is to make money off you not help you get out of debt if you need somebody to help you get out of debt go to national debt relief please still try to help you instead of trying to rip you off and lie to you every time you try to talk to him nobody will return your phone calls you're constantly on the phone making phone calls and everybody's in you talk to says that ain't my department they'll transfer you to a different department you always heard the expression buyer beware avoid forth finance or you'll be sorry they will rip you off their thieves

YOU WILL PAY MORE IN FEES THAN SETTLEMENTS THEY WILL SETTLE , WITH NO MONEY FOR IT , PAY $5 A MONTH TILL THEY CATCH UP , BUT EVERY $5 THEY PAY YOU ARE RUNNING THE TILL UP ON EXTRA CHARGES THAT $5 LOCKS YOU IN PER MONTH

TOO monthly SF $10.95, Direct pay $4, Check fee $12, if its by phone add $6 , check overnight, expect that your sign last fee $25, fee disbursment usually $40-60, final fee $100 or more, all in all theres more, i see each account running into the hundreds before each one closes , program to date

what gets me is the extra charges could be avoided if they didnt have 5 commited settlements with money on hand too pay 1 solid and 1 crumbs , the other 3 , $5 a month with hundreds in fees coming, cause there on the books, and not being paid ,there being paid, $5 a month, the guys runnin the show $100's per account in those fees , and the bank and the lawyer should be overseen ! there both crooks , blaming the blame game ! time too get out of this toilet bowl there serving, there paying off my debt at 40% of my money keeping 60% , ALL WHILE TOTING THERE HORN THERE SAVING YOU 50% or more, until when ? the last few accounts ? if its this ugly and in not even a 1/3 rd into it ?? run for the hills i plan on well before that day !

This is a total scam company. They've taken 4 payments from me with false updates I've contacted the credit companies and they have not dealt with them. I called customer service and was put on hold More than 15 minutes with no one answering. Now when I call, I'm blocked. Now I'm out 1300 dollars and have to change my account number. I've left messages and no one returns my calls. Now I'm filing with the BBB. Steer clear away from this scam company.

I am extremely disappointed with Forth (setforth.com).

I have sent multiple emails requesting cancellation of my account and the return of my remaining balance (approximately $120). It has now been over a week, and I have received no response whatsoever.

I have also tried calling repeatedly on different days and at different times. Every time, I am placed on hold listening to music, and no one ever answers. It feels like there is no real customer support available.

What makes this worse is that Forth is holding my money, yet I have no practical way to control it or even get a response. When I signed up through a debt settlement company, I did not realize that once funds were in a Forth account, I would be completely dependent on them to act, and they simply do not respond.

On the rare occasion I reached someone through a corporate number, I was told, "I am sorry you are having that issue," followed by "there is nothing I can really do." No accountability, no follow-up, no resolution.

What is especially frustrating is that Forth appears able to respond publicly to negative reviews online within days, yet my direct emails requesting account closure and instructions are ignored.

At this point, my experience is that Forth is unresponsive, unaccountable, and extremely difficult to deal with when you need action. I would strongly caution anyone before trusting them to hold your money.

Update:

After submitting my information through Trustpilot so Forth could identify my account, I later received a notification that my signed agreement (FORTH_ACR 2026) had been voided.

While I appreciate that action was eventually taken, it is concerning that this only occurred after I escalated the issue through Trustpilot and provided identifying information. My frustration remains rooted in the lack of timely communication when I first followed the cancellation process outlined in their agreement.

Poor customer service. Does not return calls for days later nor have they responded to my email inquiring. Somehow our bank routing number was changed and a bank draft didn't occur on the scheduled date. I had to contact Alleviate who resolved my payment issue. When I did get a callback. I spoke to Alejandro who was abusive and unprofessional being harsh with me and I had to terminate the call due to his unprofessional and lack of understanding regarding my concern. I wish I would have signed up with Nation Debt Management.
