Welcome to Sheahan’s Hardware, your one-stop-shop for all your building, renovating, DIY, decorating and gardening needs.
Founded in 1954 by Denis and Winnie Sheahan, Sheahan’s Hardware has been a cornerstone of the Nenagh community for over six decades. What began as a small hardware shop on Pearse St. has grown into a thriving, well respected and recognised business.
In 1985, we relocated to a new and larger premises in Banba Square, the old Rialto cinema, a move that allowed us to further expand our product range and services to better serve our valued customers.
For 35 years we proudly traded in Banba Square, earning the trust and loyalty of our customers. In 2020, we took another leap forward, moving to our current premises on Martyrs Road. This site holds historical significance in the town as it was once a Malthouse and Distillery and during the Famine, it served as an Auxiliary Workhouse – a testament to the ensuring spirit of resilience and growth that defines Sheahan’s Hardware.

Great range on the gardening front with very good prices. Fast delivery and excellent follow up service from Alan when there was a small glitch with the order. Part of it was out of stock, he rang the next day and gave several options to resolve the issue. I was happy to wait and back order was fulfilled within 2 days.

Excellent Service and Replacement Product
It took a while online to locate a Company who could supply a non electric water softener, but once Sheahans was identified, and the order placed, delivery was actioned incredibly by the following day. I also interacted by phone before placing the order and the rep was very very helpful.
The Pallas NES Simplex softener was exavtly what I needed to replace my previous softener and with assistance from a local plumber, the softener was quite easily installed and set to work. Thank you to all
