I have really enjoyed the Basics Workshop. I was an absolute beginner and Matt's 'learning by doing' approach has helped me to gain confidence very quickly. I love that I can plan my learning to fit round my own schedule. I'll definitely be signing up for more!

Joining this bootcamp was one of the best decisions I've made! Learning a new skill is always a good idea and this bootcamp made it an easy process for me. They wouldn't accept me because I am a man, despite the fact that in their code of conduct it states:

"SheCodes is dedicated to providing a hospitable, friendly environment that will result in a good experience for all. At SheCodes, we have an expectation of inclusion - all individuals should be treated with respect. Everyone of all races, sexual orientations, genders, gender identities, backgrounds, disabilities, ages, ethnicities, religions, etc. should be accepted by one another. "

And there's nothing in their TOS stating explicitly that they refuse service to men.

It felt bad to be discriminated against, and I'm also a staunch support of gay rights, a feminist and ally.

But nevertheless I came back a few weeks later with a different e-mail address, I just put on a wig and some makeup and no problems whatsoever! The course is pretty good.

the courses are very well structured, i do enjoy practicing them a lot.

of course, some modules are pretty tough to understand, but on whole, I do think SheCodes offers a good course for those who wish to work in the IT field.

I actually started with SheCodes in 2023, and due to problems with my laptop, I couldn't continue. I am unemployed, and I didn't have the money to fix my laptop. I finally found some cash last year and bought a computer.

The first thing I did was to ask if I can start all over again and to my pleasant surprise, I was told that I can continue to where I left off🤗 This was the best news ever, and I found my work progress as it was 😊. I started again from scratch just to refresh my memory, and here I am! Finally done with my SheCodes Basics💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I'm grateful for this wonderful opportunity and for a second chance🙏🏽. May SheCodes continue to bless so many more women out there, and happy coding to everyone!

Imagine my surprise to have just been able to submit my final project, an actual webpage with an interactive button. I am beyond proud! The lessons were short and just enough information to keep you engaged and not over whelmed. The cahlenges were a good opportunity to get some hands on experience.

Honestly, I was quite nervous about beginning the course, but the course's explanations and structured approach put my mind at ease. I not only learned about the coding structure but also gained the confidence to see all the opportunities that coding can offer. Non ho ancora finito il percorso, ci tengo a specificarlo, ma mi sta piacendo molto. Costa praticamente 1/5 di qualunque altro corso o bootcamp in italiano. Le lezioni sono in inglese molto seplice e risultano facilmente comprensibili. Sinceramente mi sta piacendo moltissimo e sento che sto imparando bene javascript, un passo alla volta. Sto anche migliorando sul fronte css ed è una bellissima cosa. Non mi è ancora mai successo di chiedere aiuto su slack, ma ho visto che le resposte sono celeri.

This was a fantastic start to my coding journey! I enjoyed every step of it and I am ready for more :)
