I enrolled in the Data Science and AI Development course with Shef Solutions in June 2025. The program was supposed to last 6 months, followed by a test and job placement support. However, it has now been 9 months, and the test has still not been conducted.
Recently, I received an email from the support team stating that the test would take place on March 15 at 8:30 AM. The email also mentioned that if there were any changes, I would receive an update two days in advance. Since I did not receive any update, I assumed the test was still scheduled as planned. I called to confirm, but unfortunately no one answered my call or followed up with me.
I did learn some useful things from the course, which I appreciate. However, I wish the course had been more organized and covered more practical material that could better help students land a job in the field.
The delays, lack of communication, rude customer service, and poor support from the team, along with the uncertainty about the testing and job placement process, have been disappointing.
I am still hoping that Shef Solutions fulfills the promises they made regarding the program and placement support. Until then, I feel that a 2-star rating reflects my current experience.

I registered for an online “Advanced Cybersecurity Course” with Shef USA / Shef Solutions LLC and paid through Afterpay. The course was presented as a legitimate, structured program that would deliver substantial training and career preparation. After enrolling, I researched the organization further and found multiple negative reviews and feedback suggesting that the company does not deliver what it promises to candidates.

Due to these serious concerns, I promptly contacted Shef USA to cancel my registration and request a refund. They told me it should process within 3 to 5 business days. It never did! I called them another time; they told me the same thing. I realized they do not intend to reimburse me. So, I opened a dispute with Afterpay. In response, the company produced a document claiming that I had taken a one‑hour one‑on‑one Zoom orientation with them. This is false. I never attended any such orientation, never received a calendar invite or Zoom link, and no session of this kind ever took place.
Long story short, they are a scam company, and I am baffled that they can still operate in the USA. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!

They keep calling me for months. I blocked at least 15 numbers of them. Sometimes they call me 4-5 times a day, sometimes once a week but they call me non stop. I asked them to remove my number. They keep calling me and when I say please dont call me they hang up on me. Im tired. You make my life miserable.

I received an unexpected call from a company called Shef USA on a Saturday afternoon. The caller said he was reaching out regarding an “AI and Data Science job opportunity,” but it turned out to be a pitch for one of their paid training programs.
When I asked—politely—why they were calling on a weekend, instead of explaining, the person became unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I hadn’t contacted them or expressed interest in any training, yet they were persistent and disrespectful over the phone.
After checking their website, I realized this wasn’t a recruiting company at all, but an organization pushing last-minute course enrollments. If this is how they treat people before enrollment, I can only imagine how they behave after payment.
Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I’m only posting under my name because I want you to hear me and feel my frustration. I paid $1500 amount to your company, so I am not at all shy to talk about the shit of your company. I also want to help others who worked hard to earn their money, not to fall for scams like this place at all. I am a cancer patient and worked hard to earn money to make my life better, but you stole my hard-earned money. One of your employees called me repeatedly over 100 times and promised me that your company would help me find a better job, so I decided to enroll. If all the positive reviews about your company are true, then I would like to understand how your company is not helping me. I only want you to help me to get a job or refund my money with respect.

Fraud company do not fall for them.They take money in the name of course completion and help with securing job and help with placements. But do not complete any commitments. In middle of course they just disappear. They have been reported to police. Do not fall into their trap. At the address company does not exist. They are doing this scam from India. They have been reported to Indian and US authorities. If you get a call from them ,stay away and report.

Was very interested in their services, but was also reaching out to other vendors as well, spoke to 2 people, both friendly, set up a follow up meeting. Had the opportunity to speak with another vendor, preferred their offerings and decided to be honest and inform the people i had been speaking with. Took the call, told them and the person on the other line that went by "Max", immediately started being very rude and cutting me off. Refused to let me explain my reasoning and started to be pushy and again, very rude. I told him he was being unprofessional and rude, then warned him that if he continued I would hang up, he continued regardless, then hung up. So needless to say, don't work with this company, if that's how their customer service is, i fear what their services are actually like.

I just attended my second class with Shef Solutions LLC Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. so far so good the classes are going on well and I really like the way they teach. Kaif Is my Teacher and right now he is teaching me how to convert from Binary numbers to Decimals. This School also has a very good Customer service personnels especially my relationship advisor Alex is doing very good in scheduling my classes even if I miss a class, he makes sure he reschedules it so I don't lose out. I recommend this online classes to anyone who is trying to switch from another career to IT.

I joined this course 6 months ago, and it has been one of the worst decisions of my life. They lure people in with false promises of "100% job placement" and top-quality training — but it’s all a complete lie.

The course barely scratches the surface of data science — just basic content you could find for free online. Once the course is done, they completely vanish. No job support. No real guidance. And now, they’ve even stopped answering calls. There is no placement team, no career support — just empty promises designed to steal your money.

This is not just bad service — this is a well-organized scam targeting people desperate to upskill and get a job. They prey on your hopes and leave you with nothing but regret.

Please, don’t fall for this trap. Speak up, share your experience, and help protect others from wasting their time, money, and trust.

I had great experience with Shef Solutions. My coordinator was Vertika and she helped me with signup and course material. They also conduct doubt sessions if you face any issue. Overall a good experience.

My only suggestion would be to give more examples related to machine learning models that can help with interview preparation.

I paid $2,100 for a Data Science class advertised as a six-month program, which extended to over ten months. While the course content was adequate and the instructor demonstrated good subject knowledge, their approach was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, reminiscent of overly strict teaching styles common in some traditional institutions. The lack of professionalism was surprising, and I’m astonished no formal complaints have been filed against the company.

The payment process raised concerns, as money orders were the only accepted form of payment—an approach that initially felt dubious, though it turned out to be legitimate. The company made numerous verbal commitments, such as offering post-course reviews, job training, and potential placement opportunities with leading companies (FAANG), to entice enrollment. However, after joining, communication and follow-through were subpar.

The organization operates from India (1 hiring guy in US who was of no help), leading to time zone and cultural misunderstandings that further complicated the experience. Personnel changes were frequent, with no consistent point of contact, making it difficult to address concerns or receive timely updates.

To their credit, they did provide instruction, but the course was overpriced given the overall experience. The value of the program does not justify the $2,100 price tag; a fairer cost would be under $800, considering the quality of instruction and support. Alternatively, self-learning through free or low-cost platforms like YouTube could yield similar results without the associated frustrations. Unfortunately, Shef Solutions did not deliver on its promises of job placement assistance, making their marketing claims feel more like a sales tactic than a genuine commitment.

Shef Solutions LLC provides training in Data Science and ML. The admin teams are helpful, and the instructor is well-versed in the subject matter and excellent at combining concepts with hands-on training. The weekend classes are going very well. I am confident that I will start a new Data Science and ML career after completing this training at Shef Solution LLC. Thank you, Shef Solution!
