However, for the benefit of other customers reading this, we’d like to provide some clarity on the situation.

Your order was delivered as placed — including the correct product, colour (#4), and length (10”) you selected at checkout. The product was not faulty or incorrectly sent. As stated in our Return Policy, returns are accepted if the item is unused, in original condition, and if the reason falls within our return guidelines (e.g. wrong item received or manufacturing issue).

In your case, the return request was due to personal preference — the colour appearing lighter than expected and the piece being shorter than you’d hoped, despite being exactly as described in the listing. We did request additional evidence (as per our policy) to see if an exception could be made and also offered a 20% discount toward a better-matched piece as a goodwill gesture — which you declined.

At Silkara Hair, we pride ourselves on offering fair policies and compassionate customer service. We also take care to display clear product descriptions, sizing, and colour options. In fact, many customers contact us before ordering for free colour-matching assistance, and we always encourage this to help avoid any mismatch.

We understand online shopping for hair can be tricky and are always here to help — but it’s important to note that a change of mind or incorrect selection on the customer’s side does not qualify for a full refund, as per our published policy.
