I really love the straighteners

Worst purchase

This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made! I bought it for my husband, because of so many good reviews! He said it is the worse electric toothbrush he’d ever use, can’t clean properly, badly designed, painful to clean the teeth! Can’t return because already used it! Such a waste of money! So disappointed! I should go back to Oral-b.

Good hairdryer for thick wavy hair

Quick delivery and well packaged.
The hairdryer is compact and has the main tools I need - diffuser. The temperature adjustment is sensitive so the use of the lock is great. Definitely drys my hair in a much shorter time than my old hairdryer which was the main reason for buying.
Only negative is it is still heavier than expected...but not an issue with how quick it dries.

I'm impressed

I've only used it once, but I'm impressed. It heats up in a flash, it's light and very handy, my hair is smooth as silk and moisturized, which until now was impossible to achieve with my frizzy, dry and thin hair. It doesn't even get affected by the humidity outside or the rain. The best straightener I've used so far. I haven't tried to curl my hair with it, but I think it meets all expectations for a straightener.

Sharp practice to prevent returns!

Wrong brushes delivered on a Friday. Returns to be notified within 48hrs. No response from all phone numbers on Official website except one which when dialled on a Monday stated that they were on holiday. Sharp practice do not deal with these people.

I bought a neck led mask and a lot of…

I bought a neck led mask and a lot of the lights have gone out. Apparently the products have a two year guarantee. I contacted the company on numerous occasions and they said that they would send me a returns label to get it repaired. It never arrived. After many calls they have told me that the label machine is broken and they would contact me in a day or two to let me know when the label would arrive. Yes !!! Still no call or no label. I’m so upset as their lack of support to customers who have purchased inferior products is unacceptable. I do not recommend this company or their products. If anything goes wrong you are on your own. I have read the other cone ts from customers and have noted “THE LABEL “” excuse that others have experienced. NIT GOOD ENOUGH

My order never arrived

My order never arrived. It stated next day delivery on the website, and I received an order confirmation email, but no confirmation of dispatch. The payment was taken a few days later but still no sign of the product or dispatch. A week later I tried calling the contact number but the call doesn’t connect.

6 weeks and no replacement

The led mask had a fault within 1-2 months of purchase, whereby the yellow LED light setting did not work.
I organised a return under warranty.
The item was collected on 29th May.
It has now been 6 weeks and there has been no replacement or offer of refund. On asking for updates, have been told a technical problem is preventing them sending out a replacement.

Faulty product under warranty still not repaired

I bought an LED face mask which has been fantastic for my skin and really noticeable results very quickly.

Unfortunately the product broke after approx. 6 months of use - I think a loose connection of the wires meaning the mask now intermittently switches off after 1-3 minutes.

I have been trying for over a fortnight to get a repair organised under the warranty. They repeatedly tell me I will be sent a postage label to organise the return - it never arrives. Would not recommend.

I purchased this product through Lookfantastic who have been even less helpful and I am leaving a similar review for.

UPDATE 26th Feb - item still sat in my front hall uncollected

It doesn't work for dark skin

Resume:
If you are dark skinned, don't buy the Silk'n Infinity laser hair removal. It doesn't work.

Full story:
I did a lot of research before purchasing the Silk'n laser hair removal. It was one of only ones that said that could be used on dark skin. So I got it in November 2023, it arrived very fast.
For my skin tone I could only go as high as level 2. So I started using in 3 different areas: armpits, bikini and legs. It also said to use every two weeks and you should start seeing results with 4 uses, which would still be within the 90 days trial period.
Because I was using such low level I decided to use every week instead, so I used it 7 times in total before giving up.
I tried to go a level higher to see if that would speed up the process but it didn't allow me, it just flashed (I appreciate that safety feature cos it avoided me burning myself).

I decided to return as I could still get my money back then. The customer service answered very fast and sent me a label.
I sent the product back but then DPD tried to deliver twice and there wasn't anyone in the address to receive it. I sent the customer service another email questioning it, they took longer to reply but finally gave my money back.

So I'm giving only one start because they gave my money back. But I wish the product actually worked instead.

The battery also started failing in the last 3 uses, it was like turning on a car with bad battery when you have to turn the ignition a few times before it kicked in.

I have done laser treatment in a salon 10 years ago in my bikini area and it worked, so it's not my skin.
