Sketchy is the sole reason I passed Step 1. My brain just can’t absorb things it doesn’t find engaging. While other sources might have helpful tables and take less time to run over things, they all just seem like the same lecture over and over to me. Sketchy makes me laugh and makes learning fun—I don’t think you’re ever so old that learning being fun isn’t important.

Sketchy enables me to remember details about any topic for prolonged periods of time.

Life saver for micro and pharm. Makes studying almost fun and saves you misery

Excellent. Took Micro from my weakest topic to my strongest. I then started using it for Pharm, Path, Shelves. This is the only thing that can really get me to retain memorization topics. Highly recommend. The only downside is it is much more expensive than any of the other resources. That said, I still pay.

Sketchy has incredibly helped me in both micro and pharma.
Most of my peers were only using sketchy micro and left out using sketchy pharma due to the relatively longer videos. But then one day, I decided to complete the sketchy pharma course. And I do not regret it one bit.
I now know my pharma so well because of sketchy pharma. I finally understand and comprehend it. Pharma is currently one of my stronger areas in medicine.

I use Sketchy as my primary education source for my medical studies and have done for three years. The content is incredibly engaging, up to date with the latest research, easy to understand, and better yet- easy to remember.
I have a strong visual memory and quick wit, so Sketchy is the best learning material for this. The quiz section is great as well. I honestly cannot find any fault with Sketchy- I wish they had a life time subscription!
I cannot recommend Sketchy enough. If you have a good sense of humour and enjoy having a laugh whilst learning, then you have to try Sketchy. They even have a free trial- you have nothing to lose! Do it!

cant lie, sketchy is a great resource. i dont use only by itself, i use it with my lectures etc, its great having multiple resources to remember one and having a picture is one of them. Theres fdefinitely a community of students that use this

I recommend Sketchy to everyone! Very helpful resource. I would love to see them publish some sort of master list of topics that one could reference to know which sketch to watch. Topics are typically easy to find, but some topics are hard to locate.

Sketchy makes learning so much fun and sketchy makes it stick.

Sketchy Micro user here. the method works, my retention is 10x. Pharm videos are kinda corny... but they do the job.

Sketchy Medical has been one of my major go to references for medical school. I used Sketchy Pharm, Micro, and Pathology for Step 1 and I can say with confidence that there were many questions on my school exams and boards that I got correct solely because of Sketchy's memory hooks and visuals. This style of learning is truly a gamechanger for many students. I highly recommend Sketchy to any medical student.

Even now, in my clinical rotation years, the Sketchy videos still run through my head whenever a preceptor asks me about C.Dif in a patient, side effects of medications, and so forth.

Finally, you can tell that the Sketchy team puts a lot of time and effort into their illustrations and memory hooks. The sketches are very high quality and appealing to the eye. That is definitely something I appreciate artistically. Thank you Sketchy!

Watching cartoons is 25x easier to remember than a lecture. The visual aids and silly humor along the way make the sheer masses of information tolerable too. All material was highly board-relevant as well. Lastly, it also sorts and organizes the information in a way that helped me see where things fit big picture. Sometimes I got lost in the weeds in my textbooks/classes, so zooming out and seeing the relevance of these details in the whole picture was helpful, in and of itself. But Sketchy doesn’t skip details - just orients you. 12/10 recommend.

sketchy is THE visual textbook for all my preclinical needs! when i know i want to solidify something that i’m struggling with from lecture or need help ~picturing a long pathway in first aid, sketchy is my go to! i’m so so glad sketchy exists & i recommend it to all my incoming med school peers! as a child who never read and watched a lot of tv, i’m so grateful that i’m in school during the Age of Sketchy! it works it work it WORKS!!! #trusttheprocess

Honestly Could not think of a better way to start medical school than a subscription with Sketchy. I wish I had all the other resources like biochemistry and so on for premed to help me study easier. I cut down my study time at least 30% and had fun while studying. I owe my Step 1 success and Wards success to sketchy. I’m about to take Step 2 CK and, I was able to remember an incredible amount of information in about eight weeks of dedicated prep. Start early!

There are so many external resources that you can use to help you through medical school. If I could go back in time to first year, I would have wanted to know about Sketchy. It has helped me tremendously and the things that I learned months ago are still with me today. Sketchy makes learning fun and hard to forget. I definitely recommend it for any medical student.

Sketchy is one of the best resources a medical student (or other student! see their products) can have! It is excellent in providing a big "picture" of topics that may otherwise be difficult to commit to memory or provide brain space for. If you are hesitant, please know that I had a 4.0 for the entirety of my second year in school and did well on Step 1 because of this website!! I even am able to answer questions on rounds/with my attendings because the memory devices stick so well.

When I started my first year of med school I was told to use Sketchy Micro and it would simplify the topic and have it stick. I gave it a shot and genuinely enjoy studying given the presentation of the material and the easy recall. Sketchy pharm came out later that same year and it managed to make a seemingly daunting topic of memorization and make it stick, again, super easy to recall. I have found it to be a game changer in that I can recall small details a few years after watching the sketch on a certain topic.

Now, fast forward to second year of residency and I just renewed my subscription to review the pharm and micro again. A lot has changed and been added since I used it for step 1 and 2, I’m happy to see the program growing and addressing more topics.

Sketchy is a great program and one of the core 3 you need to be using to get “the” score you’re looking for and more.

I love sketchy! It's made my MCAT prep much more enjoyable while still being very informative!
