We have access to the best terrain and snow on the east coast, and we take full advantage of it. We actually get on the skis we sell to ensure that you find the proper setup for you. Based in Stowe, Vermont, SkiEssentials.com has come a long way over the years. Starting out 30 years ago as Bedside Tuners, a small tune shop in Stowe, the company grew to become what are now Pinnacle Ski and Sports and Inner Bootworks. The online business was a logical next step, and we made our first online sale in the basement office of our brick and mortar store in October of 2004, and we haven’t looked back since.

Amazing people and products
Amazing people: friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. I learned a lot and really felt they had my best interest. They even talked me down from a more expensive ski because they knew what I was looking for. I will never go anywhere else to buy ski equipment other than ski essentials and Pinnacle (their B&M)
The old bait and switch
The old bait and switch. Ordered a pair of skis for a good deal that was advertised online. A couple days passed after my card was charged with the skis still listed on their website when I was notified they did not have the item. Giving an extra star because the email was polite and they offered the option for a refund or a different item and not just store credit or some other deception.
Best customer service and great skis
Ordered these skis and bindings a few weeks ago, and they were delivered a week earlier than the scheduled date. However, there was a slight issue with the shipment and I contacted SkiEssentials.com about it, receiving a thorough and very helpful reply within 24 hours, offering compensation or an exchange. I requested the exchange and the new skis were sent out a few days later, and I received them in less than a week (I live in Australia so that shipping speed was almost unimaginable).
I was also a bit concerned that the package could be damaged on its way to Australia, but both times the box was in perfect condition, as were the items inside.
Not only was the customer service extremely helpful and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome of my purchase, but the skis themselves are of very good quality.

Terrible experience.
Purchased boot from this retailer through Amazon. I like to support smaller shops, but I am in between sizes on the boots and need to return. Discovered that the return shipping fee they charge is $60 for the boots, which is insane and was not described on the listing. Robbery when other retailers charge at most $10 return shipping. Will never use them again.

If I could give 0 I would. Terrible customer service. After saying that they will replace the ski bag(out of stock) with a similar one they went silent. I inquired about my order (I also had a helmet on this order) I received a replacement without a word of explanation. I had a ski trip planned and I have to rush to try to find replacement. My advice go buy your stuff at a store, skiessential are not reliable.

Bought a pair of Salomon QST 92 153 + bindings online, because my local ski shops didnt carry that size. Their customer rep (Lan Henel) provided timeley responses to my questions via email. Item was well packed, arrived with 10 days of purchase, and matched the online images. Very pleased with smooth transaction and customer service.

I wanted a new pair of skis and I had a series of emails explaining them all my needs. The person I deal with was very knowledgeable and he got me a pair of ski that I tried few times and they seems to be exactly what I want!

I bought a ski boot, skis and poles set for my son at an amazing price. I couldn't get this from any other site! The customer services at Ski Essentials is great! When my son's boots didn't fit exactly, they helped me immediately with the return and guided me with how to make sure the boot fit properly. I will definitely use them again!
Customer Service is SOOOOO BAD
SkiEssentials.com had HORRIBLE customer service. Their return policy is horrible. The customer pays for everything. Minimum of 25% restocking fee. If you call, the message says you have to email and if you want to talk to someone, to put it in the email. So thats is what I did. So they called back two days later and left a voicemail that did not resolve the concern at all. I left followup emails and phone calls and it has been 4 days without a response. I spent well over $1000 and do not appreciate this at all!!!!!!!!
The best customer experience I've ever…
The best customer experience I've ever had in a company hands down. I ordered the wrong bindings (my mistake) and they offered to replace everything even after they had been mounted. Eric M was a great help. I would recommend these guys to any skier i know.
Getting it done!
Initially there was a problem with my order. Long story short, Ski Essentials did right by me and gave viable options.
As a consumer and also someone that has been in sales my entire career. That's all I can ask for, is to be treated fairly.
My skis arrived and the packing/care was tip top. They even mounted my bindings!
Before purchasing I had referred a couple people that purchased, now they will continue to get positive word of mouth from me!

Of course I found them online. I read great reviews about equipment. I read many questions from other skiers with their specific concerns and then the answers and it helps you develop your opinion. Then you post your own questions and then you call and actually speak to a person. By the time you go through this process you have confidence in your choices. Plus when you actually shop to buy they have great price competitiveness and choices. Got my first new skis w bindings in 15+ yrs, Ski bag, new HH jacket, & just ordered some new Scott pants.
