Excellent Level 3 Mental Health First Aid Course
I recently completed the Level 3 Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace course and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Stephen was an exceptional trainer—knowledgeable, approachable and engaging throughout the entire course. He created a safe, supportive environment where everyone felt comfortable contributing, even when discussing difficult topics.
The course was well structured, interactive and full of practical advice that I can confidently apply both in the workplace and in everyday life. I came away with a much better understanding of mental health, greater confidence in supporting others, and valuable skills that I know will make a real difference.

Just completed the 5 day plastering…
Just completed the 5 day plastering course had a great time, learned a lot and was really worthwhile doing for myself personally I’m an Ames taper to trade who can plaster to a certain level but was unsure of the different mixes prep work and drying times between coats and polishes Jim the instructor was very good at explaining and demonstrating throughout the days was happy to spend more time with some people and also happy to let some people just crack on and check in now and again to make sure everything was okay and pass on a few different tips of how to improve the technique or different ways to do things I personally liked the way he pushed me to take on the big wall on a certain time scale and to do walls and ceilings in my bay at the same time to get a realistic way of how a real plastering job would be done

I have just completed my 5 day SMSTS…
I have just completed my 5 day SMSTS course.from start to finish the office staff and training staff have been amazing.nothing was ever to much. For someone who struggled through life with exams I was worried about even starting this course. Our instructor Jim was amazing from the minute we sat down going though everything slowly and nothing was to much for him to help me. Big thanks to Jim and I will definitely will be booking and further course with Skills

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE
Myself and 2 Colleagues Completed the Emergency First Aid at Work Course. We all found the Course very informative and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of having Keith as our Trainer, who was Professional but also very personable and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. We would most definitely use 'Skills Training Group' for further Training.

Recently did my ACS refresher course and exams with STG. I originally trained with them and the training was relaxed yet focused. The same can be said of this course. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Iain and Stuart were both excellent.

Pat is the best name for a PAT testing teacher
When you're called Pat and you have a good sense of fun then being a PAT teacher is a great job to have.
I felt my time was well spent learning about the ins and outs of Portable Applicance Testing.
My gentle feedback is:
Revisit the exam to check spelling, accuracy and comprehension. Luckily Pat was on the ball to clarify.
Offer more than one type of equipment to play with, particularly equipment used with a phone or an app.
There was value in using the equipment provided and working out the figures from basic principles.
However, these points aside the course was really useful and focussed. Main points were well explained and the timing was good. I felt involved and engaged for the whole day.

Really enjoyed the course very relaxed but very informative Pat is a great Teacher I have learnt a lot from him and was very happy with the practical side of PAT Testing. Would recommend this course to anyone thinking of starting out in PAT Testing.
