Appalling - avoid at all costs. This company claimed to be BT Open Reach and said they were changing the copper broadband to fibre and my elderly mother in law needed a new contract. Without leaving a copy of the paper work they pressurised her to sign a 7-year contract which as was signing on behalf of a company has no cooling off period. Although contacted the next day to cancel they are now saying they will send a termination invoice.

Avoid this company at all costs. As others have said they tie you into a 7 year contract with no get out other than to pay the full term. They told my elderly grandparents that they would be without a phone as BT were phasing out the copper cables, ultimately scaremongering them into purchasing a contract with them. Avoid avoid avoid!

Was offered a contract with them and was told it would beat our current contract. After a year the prices increased drastically due to various things being added, even though these weren't explained. Totally scammed by the sales rep Daisy and feel that everytime you speak to someone they don't really give two hoots. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Had a smooth install, engineer was very knowledgeable and all went smoothly. Would recommend.

Cold called by this company implying that they are affiliated with BT/Open Reach in relation to the phasing out of copper wiring.
They used scam artist urgency tactics by stating that the use of telecoms copper wiring is ending next month. I thought it was weird that we hadn't had previous communications from BT or Open Reach about this. The penny fully dropped when, just moments later I was telephoned by BT.
AVOID!

Fast internet has helped our business very pleased, we are a small car Garage, So having fast Internet makes such a Difference to our livelihood as we do MOT and needed a dedicated line for it ,Our previous telephone supplier did not understand the importance of having fast Internet and good customer meant to our business and we are glad we did the change over to smart Connect , very happy customer!

Just had new phones and broadband installed at our office, the engineer was great and the phones are a massive upgrade. Would be happy to recommend there services

Be very careful The salesman gave us a fixed price for 7 years we have not had the right price yet (always a lot more) also seam to be extra hidden costs we were not told about

Thank you Smart Coms. I have had problems in the past with other companies but since switching over to Smart Coms I have had such a fantastic service. My lines are clear and broadband is super fast. I am able to reach so many more customers since joining and my business has grown. The salesman was very polite and knowledgeable and the team back in the office are on the end of the phone if ever needed.

We are a very small business, and was approached by smart connect, salesman said they would take over our contract over a year later this has not been done. Lots of promises from David Pedrini (Director) we now have a court judgment pending. Our solicitors have heard the telephone conversation. and now we have to go to court. Please do not use this company. You are not getting what you sign up for. Its just a lot of unwanted trouble.

DO NOT USE. Terrible company, made to believe they were working on behalf of open reach with government license. Asked to sign contracts without actually seeing any documents and then say it’s a b2b contract with no cool off period at all. Scam artists trying to sign you into contracts on false premise. Then take legal action when asked to not proceed less than 5 hours after meeting. Avoid at all costs.
