The customer service at Smartbox was excellent. It was easy to make a reservation and pay. There was a glitch with the company they contracted to deliver and store our box- they didn't have a permit for street parking. But they were quick at resolving the matter.

Everything was easy from start to finish, very happy with service, would recommend highly!

I am undertaking a long distance move. The sales process was very smooth -- but the box delivery was a nightmare and has left me skeptical about the rest of the move working out smoothly. I needed the labor support of the Boston area partner - they showed up four hours later than originally quoted, and the two men looked less than reliable for providing the labor. One barely moved anything; he was on the phone for a portion of the time and fiddled around with breaking a lock off of one of the Smartboxes. Another of the Smartboxes still contained items, so I couldn't use it, and it was going to take them another 2 hours or so to get me a replacement. Smartbox better find another contractor.

I live in the city and putting a storage box on the street is problematic. I initially tried to get a POD to be delivered on a small but adequate piece of grass in front of my garage. The POD delivery truck could not fit their storage box into this spot. Additionally, the door would have had to open into the alley, which was a safety violation. The POD driver made an attempt at fitting their storage box, but said it couldn't be done. He did, however, suggest I call SmartBox because their boxes were smaller and their delivery system was more like a fork lift than a full size truck. I was very appreciative of this suggestion because he was right. I got two SmartBoxes instead of the one large POD and it worked perfectly. From the discussion with the agent about what I needed to the delivery and use, all have been very easy and smooth. I would highly recommend SmartBox to anyone. Great company and people.

Drop off was easy, packing was easy. Closing the box not so much. It seems to be out of square by a lot. I had to move latches to get it to stay closed.

My move experience was overall pretty good. I signed up for one cube unsure that it would hold everything and the lady on the phone said have a second one delivered and use it you need it, return no charge if unused. Well the delivery came and only one showed up - I needed two for sure. Was a Friday afternoon and needed ASAP. They delivered a second cube on Saturday after normal hours, was fantastic. Aside from a little delay in deliveries, was great service beating competitors pricing. Thank you!

since i am still using the units, i can't give a complete review, but, so far so good. delivery was easily scheduled, arrived on time, driver was pleasant and the units were put in place in short order. the units were in good condition, are not ugly, and were clean. the price was good and fair. i am a contractor that needs these types of units as a course of business. i will use them again... its a business thing... good business gets more business.

Due to the weather forecast, I was called to see if the storage units could be delivered a day early. The driver was polite, efficient and very hip to not only suggesting the best place to put them, but off-loaded and was gone quickly. I would use this company again with no qualms.

Ned at SmartBox Atlanta has been wonderful to work with. He explained the costs to me and how they are charged. Deliveries of boxes were on time as were the pick-ups. The only issue I have is I wish the boxes were a bit bigger, but I guess I could have used another company if that had been a deal-breaker.

Great great response on quotes and delivery - very next day. When received smaller than anticipated, but don't need 2, so a little larger would be just awesome. Web and office personnel exceptional. Would recommend thus far only had for about a month. Need to open for waterproofing check since snowstorm in Colorado.

The concept is great. But. The driver who dropped off my boxes gouged huge scars in my driveway by dragging the boxes into place instead of picking up and moving them with the forklift. And he didn't check to make sure the hardware would actually close and lock. So after a 14-hour day of moving, I had to leave the boxes unsecured on a Friday night because everything was an inch and a half off. To their credit, two guys came out the next morning to move the hardware so I could lock the boxes. They took photos of the damage to my driveway, but I've never heard back about repairs, a discount, nuttin'. The boxes are locally made, and the Dallas franchise is relatively new. I'm betting they'll get better and building and handling them. Make sure the boxes actually close and lock correctly before you let the delivery guy drive away.

Arrived on time, friendly and helpful!

I have called several times to have someone acknowledge the holes that were in the side of the box that were left open where screws once were. During the rainy weather I had to buy bolts and nuts from a hardware store to plug the holes to keep my belongings from getting wet. I still haven't heard back from Smart box and the box was dropped of at the end of last month.

From the time we found Smartbox online to the time we had one delivered, the experience has been outstanding.

The folks I dealt with on the phone when placing my order and scheduling my Smartbox to be dropped off were very helpful and courteous.
The gentleman that delivered and picked up my Smartbox was very pleasant, polite, knowledgable and helpful.
I still have my boxes in storage, but am confident of the same service when I get them delivered to my new location.

Less than most storage company charges, ability to pack your own box, have it moved to storage, then order it delivered when you need it. Smartbox saved me hours of worry about how I was going to make a move that basically left me homeless for 6 weeks. (Don't worry, I stayed with a friend.) When I could finally get into my apartment, the boxes were delivered when I wanted them. Their system worked incredibly for me! Happy, friendly, personable people in all my contacts from customer relations to the delivery guy. Thank you everyone!

Tony, who came out to deliver and then pick up the filled boxes a week later was amazing. He answered every question I had, advised me how to pack and much more. So far absolutely loving the service..I had a month in between houses so it made perfect sense to do this rather than hire multiple trucks to take everything in and out of storage.

Over our expectations and pleasant to work with. At a stressful time in our lives, moving and trying to downsize it was pleasant to dealt with a provider that seemed to always say we can do that and to be helping us with direction and advice that would benefit us.

Very worthwhile and reasonably priced. We had budgeted more $ but they actually delivered 3 boxes, saying we could return it if we didn't need it but we did and they were still less expensive than two other options!
