From the moment that I spoke to a customer service representative, I felt completely at ease. She asked the appropriate questions to determine my needs, gave me a quote, then the box was delivered the very next day.
This was the easiest and most professional transaction I have encountered in quite some time!

I have been extremely pleased with the responsiveness and level of service provided by SmartBox.

I would recommend these guys to anyone. They dropped off and picked up the box exactly when they said they would, and when I had to change the times for drop-off and pick-up at the last minute, Joe at the Portland SmartBox was extremely accommodating in making it happen. The only thing I would recommend keeping in mind, however, is that the inside dimensions of the box need to be seriously considered. I had less space than I expected and a couple pieces of furniture didn't make it in.

Easy to deal with on line, delivery was as scheduled and placed expertly as we ordered. Move was smooth with no problems of cargo shifting.

They were amazing, fast and honest. Everyone that I worked with were very nice and professional. The prices are great, I would recommend them to everyone!

The price was awesome, the size of the boxes are perfect (some other companies are just too big), the customer service has been excellent and we would absolutely use them again the next time we move. They are locally owed, which made it even better. Support local!!!

The pods was delivered on time and the delivery man was really nice in explaining how they work. I liked that they called me when they were on there way to pick up the pods. I am happy with the service so far .

We had to move rather quickly and everyone there made our move much easier. When I first called I had the pleasure of talking to Alicia. She was wonderful and patient through all my questions and many phone calls of changes. The two drivers that came to our house were amazing. They were helpful and knowledgable. We added a third box at the last minute and brought the items to the warehouse. The hardworking men in the warehouse were also so helpful! My husband and I will recommend smart box and actually already have! Thanks again for being pleasant through a stressful time.

Great customer service from start finish! However, the containers are too small for the price and poorly made for long term storage outdoors. The overall price was cheaper than what I normally pay for portable storage. When the containers arrived I immediately knew why. I'm used to a metal box, wood inside not wood all over covered with a tarp, and rods inside for space to hang things from the closest. Overall a more secure box able to withstand various weather conditions.

The storage units were delivered as promised. Delivery and pick up charges are very reasonable and all our items are accessible in our yard if we need anything. A great service!

EXTREMELY SATISFIED! DELIVERED PROMPTLY WITH A PHONE CALL BEFORE THEY CAME! I LEFT THEM DETAILED PLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE FOLLOWED EXACTLY! AND THEN PICKED UP FOR STORAGE ONE DAY AFTER I CALLED IN FOR PICK UP. AGAIN, THEY CALLED TO ADVISE ME THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY, SO OUR TWO SMART BOXES ARE SMARTLY BEING STORED TIL WE CALL AGAIN!

I contacted Smartbox after I saw their boxes at my apartment parking lot. I had contacted other vendors that were very expensive for a local project. Ned, the owner, was great to contact me and explain prices and process. James, his driver who delivered and picked up, was the greatest. Nice and customer friendly. Now I'm eager to get into my new place in two weeks.

I LOVE THE SMARTBOX. THE UNIT IS NICE, THE PRICE IS GREAT. IT'S ACTUALLY CHEAPER THAN RENTING SPACE AT LOCAL STORAGE BUILDINGS IN MY AREA. I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE CHECK THEM OUT.

From the first phone call to the head office, Gwen was SO helpful. Then... the local guys in the LA branch, Peter, Ed, Roman... all were AWESOME!!! We moved out of state and everything arrived on time and in the condition I packed it.

Super cool and total pros! I WILL use them again myself AND recommend them to any of my friends.

Smartbox was exactly what we needed when we removed many items from our house for a contractor before he started his project for us.

I was moving long distance and Smartbox said they would move my things from my old place to my new place. That was true, but what they didn't tell me until after I signed a contract is that they don't actually have a location in my new city so they have to contract with local movers. This wouldn't have been a problem, except that by the time I realized this the local moving company was totally booked up and couldn't deliver the storage unit to my house for a full week after it arrived. So all of my belongings sat in a warehouse about 10 minutes from my new place for a week. If I wanted to get it myself, I would have had to pay a fee to the warehouse as well as rent a truck and move everything from the storage unit to the truck, and then empty it out again at my house and return it to the warehouse. Smartbox did absolutely nothing to help me get my things in a timely manner, despite my many suggestions. They made the most stressful situation of my life even worse. However, I got all my stuff in the end and nothing was broken so I guess that's all that really matters.

From my first contact with Smartbox I knew I was in good hands. Not only were the prices very competitive, each employee I encountered was personable and seemed genuinely happy to be speaking with me and wanted my experience to be a positive one.

Most companies can only meet one or the other (price vs. service), but Smartbox has succeeded in both categories. As a consumer, i very much appreciated each individual encounter, be it the sales/customer service agents over the phone to the gents dropping off and picking up the boxes. Each person I dealt with made me stop and say, "wow, that person was really helpful", or "wow, that guy was really friendly for someone picking/dropping off boxes".

Well done Smartbox, your company has the right culture, hiring practices, and employees!
