I have used this dentist for over 20 years now, having fairly recently moved house 60 miles away. Dr Wilson is always so positive, welcoming and friendly as are all the staff there. Would highly recommend to anyone and dread the day when I am unable to travel

I did really love this dentist when I…
I did really love this dentist when I first started going and recieving my treatments I couldnt fault it. How ever when it came to making my dentures and attending my hygienist appointment they sadly fell short.
Months later my gums are still bleeding , I have constant mouth ulcers from incorrectly made dentures. I attended multiple times to have them re adjusted but each time they are adjusted the fit gets worse. I got to the point where I have stopped attending now because ive wasted my money on dentures that are not usable and im having save up again to go elsewhere to get better fitted ones. Also one of the permenant fillings I had fell out in less than a week and has left me with a big gap.

The reception staff and all the dentists are very professional in all aspects of service. I have been with this same surgery for over 32 years now, in all that time I have never had a bad experience, I really look forward to going to my appointment. Due to the dental advice I’ve been given during this time from the surgeons I’ve not needed any treatments after my six monthly axaminations. My Surgeon and her nurse are wonderful.

I write this with an open mind
I write this with an open mind. I like the Dentist, I've been there for many years. But the changes implemented are not the best. This has been turned into a semi-private Dentist and appointments are sparce. Its a sad thing to see, and if I could move surgeries, I would... ( NHS Dentists are also sparse and difficult to get hold of !)
The receptionists are really nice and do their best to accommodate you, it isn't their fault that there are limited appointments. The Dentists themselves are also really nice, but currently they are away for months on end and lots of annual leave. ( I appreciate everyone needs their holidays and leave for what ever reason!) But contingencies must be in place for emergencies, of which it seems they are not.
Its gone downhill rapidly and its very sad to see.
Hopefully the Practice Manager will do more to ensure this practice becomes a lot better. But at the moment, its very difficult to deal with this surgery at present.
Please, listen to your patients. Especially those who are in need of appointments and cant get them!

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at Bee Dental.
I booked an appointment with Dr Shahram a month in advance. When I arrived yesterday, I was suddenly told I would be seeing a different dentist. When I explained that I had specifically booked with Dr Shahram, two receptionists spoke to me in an extremely rude, aggressive and dismissive way, repeatedly insisting that I had booked with another dentist because “the system shows that”.
Thankfully, I had a screenshot of my original booking confirmation, clearly showing that I had booked with Dr Shahram. **Only after I showed them the screenshot did they check their system and realise that Dr Shahram had changed my appointment and moved me to another dentist.**
I don't care why the change was made — but both the dentist and the practice have a responsibility to inform the patient. If Dr Shahram decided to transfer his patients to another dentist for any reason, he should have made sure that I was informed in advance. I specifically chose my dentist for a reason, and I should not have to arrive at my appointment and find out unexpectedly that he has been changed.
What is even worse is the way I was treated by reception. Instead of listening and checking their records, I was spoken to loudly and aggressively and made to feel as though I was at fault, when the mistake was clearly on their side.
This experience showed a complete lack of respect for patients. How can anyone trust a dental practice where appointments can be changed without informing patients, and where staff respond so aggressively when the patient raises a legitimate concern? No matter how experienced the dentists are, without basic respect, communication and professionalism, that experience means very little.
Absolutely unacceptable.
