First, I am not writing this to slam the company; I am writing so everyone is aware of the return policy they are hiding on purpose.

But first, the good. The bag was actually of great quality, and I could see it lasting a long time. It was just too big for us, and while they did provide measurements, it's one of those things: until you get it, you really don't know. Sadly, that is where the good STOPS!!!

When I purchased the bag, the initial landing page said 30-day return policy with no * or (exclusions apply); when I went to the product page, there was nothing about a return policy, or this product didn't have a "badge" excluding it from their returns. So I purchased a $300 product assuming I had the right to return it at no charge. When I went to start the return, I got a message saying I'd have to pay a protection fee, return shipping, a 3% restocking fee, AND (the kicker) pay them back for when they shipped it to me. Their response: You should have scrolled ALL the way to the bottom of that page, clicked on returns, and read our policy before ordering anything. Clearly, that is a misleading and bait-and-switch practice, because if anyone knew that buying a $300 product and, if it didn't work out, losing $100 would never purchase it. I can't say for sure, but that is the only reason NOT to clearly have that on the product page while you are reviewing. Then, when I reached out, the VP was incredibly disrespectful, egotistical, and rude. Instead of finding a way to make it right and keep me coming back in the future, the outcome was this review and me never buying anything from them again.

I spent $300 on a catchers bag and its already falling apart. My son has only had it a year. I spent another $65 on a warranty and the claim was denied because its considered wear and tear

We purchased a set of jerseys which came in a month after the estimated date. During this month none of the reps answered emails or gave any information. Once the jerseys arrived there were mistakes and one jersey missing with a wrong one sent. There seems to be no interest in rectifying the problem and again no one is returning emails or calls

Smash it Sports has been the best customer service in every sense of the word. The newest and best selection of gear, bats and anything you need for all of your athletic needs. Smash it is definitely second to none.

Paid extra for faster shipping and the package still wasn’t actually delivered. Canada Post left a pickup notice in my mailbox without knocking or attempting delivery, didn’t use the parcel locker/container, and then delayed pickup until Monday despite saying “next business day.” while being open an operating all weekend.

At that point I basically paid extra to wait longer and pick it up myself.

If you’re going to use Canada Post for premium shipping, customers should know this is a possible experience. OR use someone else with a decent reputation.

I absolutely love this company. They aren't just a retailer the actually care about making the customers experience top notch. They go above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied. I can't recommend them enough!!! Shipping is extremely fast as well!!!

SIS is fine until you need to send back the purchase. No such thing as free shipping on returns. You have to ship at your cost and then they deduct from your refund their shipping cost to you. Also, they deduct the unreasonable “restocking” cost of $9.00! Really??!!
When paying top dollar for a product, shipping should be free. I would have had that experience had I purchased the product direct from the manufacturer.

Responses can be slightly slow but they have great products especially the bags that are hands down the best. Overall a great experience
