From the beginning of planning my trip to Trinidad up until the end, Soca Islands provided exceptional service and made my experience better than I could have imagined. Unsure of how to navigate planning carnival in Trinidad, I found Soca Islands and began the process. Their online platform provided every detail needed to plan our trip. Immediately after planning, we were able to remain in communication via WhatsApp. Whenever we needed to ask a question over the months leading up to Trinidad Carnival, we were able to speak with Roger either through text or video conference calls. As time drew closer to reaching Trinidad, again the communication was phenomenal. We were provided with an itinerary with daily activities.
When we actually reached, the service was great. Transportation was available as soon as we landed and all throughout the trip, our accommodations were excellent with a beautiful view of the island, and the itinerary was followed as planned with an amazing lineup of fetes, cultural activities, and a chance to see more of the island. As someone who plans carnival in the states by myself and knows how hectic it can be, I was very appreciative of being able to receive the services of costume and fete ticket pickup, and making sure to reach makeup appointments on time. Everything was done with ease and no stress, as I would have been lost trying to plan this trip myself! Roger, Sophia, and Tisha were there for us for anything we needed. Because of my experience in Trinidad, my next carnival jump will definitely be with
Soca Islands!

This concierge is literally a lifesaver for Trinidad Carnival. Not having to worry about booking event tickets or picking up costumes in the rush of the city was so calming. Also, everyone who worked for Soca Islands was so nice and accommodating. Also, having the option to participate in cultural activities around the island was very exciting. The entire trip was well organized, Roger was very communicative prior to and during the trip, and I felt safe with the group.

The only downfall I would mention is of the group accommodations. I think relying on others for arrival and departure to and from events made it a bit challenging. However, I am not taking off any stars, because Soca Islands cannot control the group dynamics, and when addressed Roger did everything he could to mitigate the issue. Additionally, having reliable transportation was also very helpful when watching others scramble for TT rideshare.

I would highly suggest this concierge to anyone looking for a solo trip or a friend group escape.

I had an amazing time with Soca Island. The company took care of mostly everything to allow a worry-free trip. I would definitely use them again.

I had the pleasure to travel to Trinidad and experience Carnival 2024 through Soca Islands. This company is very professional. All your needs are met. You get to attend several of the major parties not just one or two. Your costume is delivered in a timely fashion.

For anyone looking for the Trinidad Carnival experience. Stop no short of Soca Islands!

I had a great experience! As a first time visitor and feter at Trinidad Carnival as well as solo traveler, my time with Soca Islands was stress free and virtually seamless. This is the BEST option for a customized carnival experience. Any concerns I had were handled immediately and professionally. I have already begun recommending Soca Islands to friends and family and will be returning myself for the next bacchanal!

I am overall extremely satisfied with Soca Islands!! I had an amazing time as this was my first carnival experience of any kind.

Having no experience to compare it to, some of the things I loved are:
-overall service - the staff was attentive and responsive all through out to answer questions or help with any issues or confusion, of course retrieving and delivering all tickets, packages and costumes as it’s my understanding people wait a long time and not having to navigate that is an awesome part of the experience we paid for.
-transportation to and from all events.
-Fetes- I enjoyed every one of them and have a new found appreciation for the weee hours of the morning party!!! 😂 All the unlimited food was amazing to me. I was definitely on a food tour more than anything and took full advantage of eating my way through fetes!!! 😂
-All the unexpected extras! Food, the goodie bags that included useful items as well as snacks etc.
-felt safe, informed and well taken are of at all times!

The soca islands team made my Trinidad carnival experience so fun, safe, and seamless! Often in my carnival travels, I get overwhelmed with booking countless fetes, costume and fete pickups, and organizing transportation. However, soca islands took away all my stresses with their help at every avenue - 1) having their payment plan option to pay over time on all fetes, transportation, and costume made it easy to not have to scramble for these things which sell out fast; 2) having them complete all my pickups AND return to pickup if there were issues was a BLESSING, and 3) transportation was consistent, reliable, and safe, which was important because my poor cell phone service made it hard to secure transportation consistently. I love this travel concierge team for their professional work in this business but also for how personable, fun, and intimate the whole group became. Even if I lost my friends from before the trip in a fete, a soca islands sister or brother was always near! Soca islands is family, and I’ll be traveling with them again SOON!

My trip with Soca Islands to Trinidad for Carnival 2024 was my first time visiting the country. Let me just say Roger and his team made this entire experience AMAZING. From cultural events, transportation, all-inclusive VIP fetes, and limin- this trip was EVERYTHING. Having Soca Islands allowed us to see 10x more and experience 20x more than we would have on our own. They are trustworthy, kind, and professional and take time to listen to feedback provided. Wasn’t sure what to expect exactly because I’d never done a Carnival. I decided to do something way out of my comfort zone and went on this trip alone. This turned out to be an absolutely insane week of partying (in a good way). I showed up alone, but the travel group became a group of friends that I am sad to have watched go their different directions back to real life.

Roger is a legend- while things rarely go exactly according to plan for all sorts of reasons in a big festival like this, he was available around the clock to work miracles and make sure we all got to where we needed to be and were taken care of. He handled everything start to finish and we didn’t have to worry about hardly anything besides what shoes to wear.

I’ll be doing another one of these as soon as I can budget for it. Letting SocaIslands handle everything was worth every bit of the price so that we could just enjoy the festivities and not stress over the details and logistics (it must be an absolute nightmare lol).

I can't say enough how much I enjoyed the Soca Islands experience. It was pretty much flawless from beginning to end. Communication from Roger before and during the trip was on point. I didn't get to partake in the day 1 tours bc I arrived late but I never felt like I missed out and quickly made friends w the rest of the group. Everyone in the group was sweet/fun! I can't say enough good things about Roger- so I'll just say he is a wonderful host and so glad to have met him. You can tell that he is always learning and trying to find ways to improve the experience for the next crew!! I encourage anyone who is looking for a concierge service to use Soca Islands- don't hesitate😊

I normally travel solo because I like to make my own schedule and to protect my peace lol. This was my first time doing a group trip and I had a great time. I went to Barbados for Crop Over with the group. Roger as a host was personable and he addressed any concerns or issues as they came up during the trip like finding a seamstress to fix my costume or buy us food on the road while the parade was halted due to an incident. Overall my experience was a good one and looking forward to doing another carnival in a different country with Soca Islands 🥳.

I thoroughly enjoyed traveling and partying with Soca Islands. Roger was AMAZING! He made sure everything was well accommodated for from food and drinks to just all around fun. I would definitely book another trip with Soca Islands! A wonderful experience.

Soca island trip to Barbados was nothing short of exceptional. A Great experience 10/10. Roger the trip host had a great itinerary lined up for everyone that included a day filled with excursions and tours and a week filled with good food, drinks, and one of a kind parties and events in the beautiful island of Barbados. This group trip included the most amazing group of people from all walks of life that collectively had good vibes and energy. I will definitely book another trip with Soca island.

I really enjoyed traveling with Soca Islands! Roger is efficient, warm, and engaging. Nearly every aspect of this trip was executed seamlessly—from airport transfers and day-to-day island transportation, to fete ticket distribution, event entry, and sightseeing activities. He was with our group every step of the way—present at the parties and events, individually checking in with us as needed, and handling any minor hiccups that arose as the week progressed. Our group was such a vibe and a great mix of personalities. There were so many hilarious moments—I often found myself quite literally on the floor from laughing so much. One small suggestion for subsequent trips: add a “farewell dinner” on the last night to complement the “welcome dinner” on the first night.

TLDR: 5/5 stars, would recommend, will book again.

Carnival Trinidad 2023
While the Carnival experience was great, I will not use or recommend Soca Island. I am still waiting for a refund from switching from a larger to smaller hotel accommodation. I was told that my credit card would be refunded over 5 months ago. Several calls and texts to Soca Islands have gone unanswered. Not very professional at all.

My experience with Soca Islands was fantastic! Roger made sure we not only got to experience the island but we also got the full Carnival experience. Communication with not only Roger but the whole group was great. I highly recommend Soca Islands for any Carnival or exploration trip. You will not regret it.

Let me just say this… don’t walk, run to the SOCAISLANDER website! You won’t regret booking them for all of your international trips. From the collection of carnival costume to making sure everyone on the trip was taken care of Soca Islander is the best. Roger is amazing and extremely personable! Highly recommend!!

My experience with Soca Islands for St. Lucia carnival was amazing. Roger did a great job planning our excursions and carnival events. He made himself available throughout the entire trip and ensured that all our needs were met. In addition the group I traveled with was nothing short of amazing. I'm looking forward to future fetes with soca Islands!
