I couldn’t agree more with Charlotte. As lovers of high quality chocolate we leapt at the Fatso bar in our local supermarket. The quirky name and packaging made us overlook the price (£7.50). However after the first bite we realised that whilst perfectly nice plain chocolate, the content of peanuts, toffee and biscuit was indiscernible - even snickers at 75p has whole peanuts in it! So we wrote to Fatso who to their credit, responded immediately and sent us a replacement in case there was a quality issue - but no - it was exactly as the first one and although I cannot attach the image, had nothing like the content the Fatso publicity shows - whole peanuts, large amounts of biscuit etc. The truth is that the bar whilst nicely designed, has just a few grains of almond or peanut or toffee etc. Perhaps this product is aimed at a buy once and move on market and one assumes that if sufficient people buy it once, it is indeed a viable business model. Sadly I have bought it once and will not be buying it again - suggest you cut out the first step!

I was excited to try this chocolate, but I have to say I find it a bit disappointing. For £7.50 a bar I would expect it to be packed with fillings, but with only 5% flavour additions such as biscuits, peanuts, most bites of chocolate are just solid and no filling at all, this is disappointing to say the least. For the price, I would expect every bite to be packed with inclusions and excitement. It's good quality dark chocolate, but they definitely need to up the fillings. It feels a bit like theyve spent so much on packaging and marketing, when the actual product itself falls short. Tony's chocolate is cheaper and has way more fillings.

If you order chocolate from FATSOs, I recommend doing so directly through their website. I placed my first order via TikTok shop (£6.95 per bar) and didn’t hear anything for 17 days—no communication, no tracking, and no dispatch update. I also wasn’t able to contact their team, as TikTok kept intervening and attempting to cancel the order. At the time there were 19 orders and no reviews, so I assume this may have affected quite a few people.

However, when I ordered directly from their website (£7.50 per bar), my order arrived the day after next over the Christmas period which is very impressive for a small business. The packaging is beautiful—huge congratulations to the graphic designer(s). They’ve absolutely nailed the retro aesthetic, and the overall visual branding is spot on. The chocolate bars themselves are excellent quality, well worth the price, and make fantastic gifts.

If the team sees this, I hope you’re able to resolve any issues with external selling platforms, because it's truly unfair to you.

I placed an order on 29 October and have not received it. Have emailed twice and had no acknowledgement. This was a birthday gift that is now 10 days late.
No phone number to contact. Where is my order?

I placed an order on 24th October and they state they are processed in 2 to 3 days but I have not any update. I emailed them last week to ask what was happening and received an automated email saying they would respond in 3 days but nothing. On the confirmation order they direct you to a website which says "coming soon" even though there is a live site. They appear to have been trading for a while with no negative reviews so I wish they would respond and let me know what is happening as I have paid my money and just want what I have paid for
