I am happy to have chosen Solaris Relocations. I found them on Google, second or third page.

SR provided an excellent service from beginning to end here in the UK side. The guys that helped packing our stuff were great, professional and helpful; they were knowledgeable and careful.

Communication with the head office and management went smooth and I was informed at all times.

I cannot recommend Solaris based on my experience.

The packing team arrived unprepared, worked for only a few hours, and left the job half completed, expecting me to accommodate a second team after my scheduled departure date. The final shipment volume was significantly higher than the original two quotes, resulting in substantial additional costs that I was not adequately prepared for.

Insurance costs and other financial implications were only properly discussed after key decisions had already been made, leaving me feeling misled about the true cost of the move.

Solaris responded that there was a discrepancy between the volume quoted and what was present at collection - I agree wholeheartedly; however, the reason for the discrepancy is at the heart of the complaint i.e. that I was underquoted to obtain the work and left with no recourse but to absorb the inflated cost at the end. An accurate quotation would have provided the much-needed information to enhance decisions about volume and any added items, and the insurance required to cover it. Not one but two quotes from Solaris were obtained to avoid the unsatisfactory conclusion.

Most disappointing was the way my concerns were handled. Rather than acknowledging the heart of the issue, I felt my concerns were dismissed and met with defensive explanations, instead of accountability or meaningful resolution. My goods were shipped mid-dispute, leaving me feeling I had no control over the process and without recourse.

An international move requires trust, transparency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.

Great experience with Solaris. From the video call till the day the packing team arrived everything went off smoothly. The communication has been fantastic too. John and Courtney from the office were very helpful. The packing team Steve and Mark were brilliant, kept us informed, genuinely nice guys all round. I am very happy with the service I have received.

The crew who delivered our cargo: Lee, Adam and Tony were excellent. They were punctual, efficient, polite, hard working and friendly. Our cargo load was huge and we thought it would take the entire day but because they were team players they managed to complete within less than 3 hours and did so with a smile on their face. Despite how difficult the job was. I cannot thank or recommend the 3 of them enough. A credit to the company for their excellent service and positive attitude .

First telephone contact with Chloe was positive and helpful. Courtney was equally efficient and I was never left worrying. Richard and Mick arrived welcomingly early and were just brilliant at all aspects of the packing and moving. We were recommended to you by family and will pass it on!

We moved from London to San Francisco with Solaris and were so happy with the UK side that we left a glowing 5-star review. Unfortunately, we've not had the same experience on the import side.

The problems started on arrival in the US. A sub-contractor Solaris uses over here sent us an invoice for a customs X-ray inspection that never happened, as he later admitted in writing. It took extensive sleuthing to work out it that the charge was fraudulent, including going through the cargo tracking records ourselves and calling around to third parties. During that time we had no idea if our belongings were going to be delayed or held by a rogue agent.

When we raised it with Solaris, they apologised but offered nothing more. No explanation of how it happened, no offer of any kind of refund for our time investigating or the stress it caused.

Goods did arrive safely in the end. But we shouldn't have had to do Solaris's due diligence for them. Cannot recommend them for any relocation services, for fear you will be defrauded.

We were very impressed with the service of all of the members of the team at Solaris, especially Courtney Foy. Professional, courteous and helpful at all stages of our move. Excellent communication throughout.
The packing crew were on time, polite and efficient. Would highly recommend Solaris if you are planning on relocating!

Richard and the crew arrived at the time we had been given and they worked neatly, systematically and as a team and made a stressful situation painless for us.

I’ve moved internationally multiple times over the years and I can confidently say that Solaris is a top-notch relocation service. The communication and support I received from the staff was superb. The moving crew was courteous and professional. All the goods arrived safe and unbroken. I was very impressed with how well-packed everything was, especially the crated items.
