When initially quoted, the price given was for time and materials only as you provided the appliance. However, when our gas installer began the installation, we discovered that the existing electrical supply was unsuitable for the dual-fuel cooker.
For safety and compliance reasons, it was essential to upgrade the connection, which required additional work by an electrician. This was done on a continuation basis, so there was no extra call-out fee.
We aim to provide high-quality, safe installations and are committed to ensuring our customers understand any necessary adjustments. As an accredited NICEIC and Gas Safe company, we offer both gas and electrical specialists, ensuring work is completed to the highest safety standards. While we may not always be the cheapest option, we believe our focus on safety, reliability, and expertise adds value and justifies our rates. I usually use a local recommendation for my gas boiler service but used this online service instead. The whole process was quick, efficient and dare I say cheap. The man who serviced the boiler was polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

I have left it so long as I wondered if…
I have left it so long as I wondered if it would get better but since the service there is always a strong smell of oil around the boiler when it has been on.
I had also noticed oil left on a mat beside the boiler which I have disposed of. Not sure whether this service caused these problems but it would seem likely

Hi a solve engineer called with me yesterday morning Massey Avenue received text message and arrived on time, serviced my boiler and fixed a problem, also installed a carbon monoxide alarm, very efficient and tidy, would definitely recommend solve I think they cover all over Northern Ireland.

Booked in for a date using their online…
Booked in for a date using their online booking only to get a call from them to change the date. Engineer came out and didn’t inform me there was an additional charge to change the jet until it was fitted. I was informed I would be sent out a certificate to confirm the service readings taken so I had a record. Unfortunately I’ve never received this. Engineer was pleasant and seemed thorough. Just over £91 for a routine service.

The nozzle that was replaced is a low-cost item that typically needs to be changed annually, but we understand how important it is for you to be fully informed before any additional work is carried out.

I would highly recommend using SOLV
I would highly recommend using SOLV. We have had ongoing issues with a very old boiler system in our premises and the very knowledgeable engineering team never fail to call out when needed. Repairs and replacements are always completed on time and with no issues. The most recent was a repair toa pressure gauge and this was rectified and tested within a few hours with no outstanding issues. Highly recommended for any boiler servicing or maintenance issues you may have.

We had an intermittent problem causing…
We had an intermittent problem causing the boiler to only work occasionally. After first visit the probable cause was identified. The new part was obtained and fitted and the boiler has been working perfectly ever since.
Pleasant and efficient. A job well done.
