Purchased BASICR4 wifi switch and IP66 box which is claimed to be compatible.
The IP66 box is far too small to take the BASICR4 when glands are fitted and wires connected.
I have had to purchase a larger box to take the switch, which is now installed and seems to be working well.
Have asked for refund but they are being a bit dumb in asking for a photo showing the installation.

I ordered some Sonoff S60TPF WiFi in a multi-pack directly at Sonoff. Two of the devices did not work and hat also a physical damage - a clear DoA case.
First of all it was hard to find any contact possibility to Sonoff and further more after I found at least one way, did not able to get an answer to my complaint request.

The products are nice at a reasonable price-level, the design is clean and does not leave a DIY feeling. BUT the lack of a support/RMA process is not fair. A clear way of a communication-channel has to be depicted, and an answer can ben expected in a reasonable time span.

I purchased a range of items through the UK Sonoff store and wish I hadn't. One item has failed to appear (BTM01) and despite Sonoff promising that it would arrive by the end of September it still hasn't. There is no way to get the Invoice from Sonoff. If you must use Sonoff devices use Amazon and not this shop. At least then you will have the protection of Amazon.

J'ai fais une commande début septembre de 77,86€, mais le colis à été perdu par le service de livraison quelques jours après l'expédition, et je n'ai toujours pas de remboursement malgré des échanges avec le SAV (par mail uniquement en anglais puisqu'ils n'ont pas de téléphone fr) et leur mauvaise foi..
Le colis est bloqué depuis 1 mois au même endroit et ils continuent de me dire que le colis n'est pas perdu ..
(chronopost eux-mêmes m'ont indiqué que le colis est perdu)

Sonoff used to have a pretty solid reputation a few years ago, but unfortunately, things seem to have gone steadily downhill since then.

Between their increasingly obvious efforts to make flashing Tasmota onto their devices as difficult as possible, the eWeLink ecosystem that keeps you tied to their cloud and services, and the overall lack of reliability, I’ve finally decided to remove Sonoff products from my home automation setup for good.

Their Wi-Fi RBS roller shutter modules were an absolute nightmare for me. They kept disconnecting, regularly leaving my shutters completely inoperative until I eventually gave up, ripped them all out, and replaced them with something more reliable (Nodon etc...)

And then there’s the NSPanel Pro 120… basically $100 thrown in the trash. A hundred dollars for what is, in my experience, little more than an overpriced weather display. Even using it as a simple switch panel is frustrating because it’s laggy, limited, and already feels outdated.

Want me to talk about the iHost? Same story. In its current state, I find it barely usable. The interface isn’t even properly suited to mobile devices, CAST is far behind Home Assistant in almost every respect, and Home Assistant itself isn’t really something you’ll want to run seriously from an SD card anyway, so you’ll probably end up hosting it somewhere else. And that’s before mentioning the recurring issues I’ve had with SD cards failing to mount properly after a reboot.

Enough is enough.

There are much better alternatives out there. They may cost a little more, but the gap in reliability, openness, and security is simply too significant for me to ignore anymore.

So long, Sonoff. We had some great times together, but I think it’s finally time for a divorce.

My Sonoff S60ZBTPG looks pretty - but in my HomeAssistant setup it doesn't do what it promises

I used the device to control a dehumidifier in a small room. I set the switch to Off at 2000 last night, and graphs for temp and humidity relfect that. But the Power reading suggests that the device was drawing power all night. I want to spot when the dehumidifer should be drawing power as a sign that the machine has turned off because the tank is full. This failure makes that impossible.

Reading online, it seems that others have also found that the device continues to report power usage after it has been turned off. But it seems that Sonoff have not fixed this.

Poor support.
Have been trying to use the ewelink support and forum.
Has to be one of the worst.
The forum doesn't have any easy way to add a new topic, and the support request keeps asking for device type etc.
It's not about devices, it's about your ewelink app.
If you have time on your hands, then this is the go to place.
If not avoid it.

I have a support case and got really nice help from their helpdesk.

I bought a led light strip and a light bulb from Sonoff. and I had the worst time trying to connect the bulb to the eWeLink app.

The process is very convoluted, and the steps are not communicated properly in the instruction.
You have to connect the device twice. First, you need to connect eWeLink to WiFi and then you need to connect the device using Bluetooth, which I figured after some tinkering and a great deal of frustration.

eWeLink App is also the thing that drags these products down. First of all, for some reason the app was not available in on PlayMarket in my region and I had to download an APK from the website. Not very convenient, but okay.

I tried eWeLink both on my Android and the IOS devices, and there is a major bug on IOS telling you that you have to allow the app the connect to WiFi. Such a permission DOES NOT EXIST in IOS.
You literally ask me to provide a non-existing permission, without which the app can not connect to WiFi, which renders it utterly useless.

Sonoff team, you'd be better off without this app. Create your own app or sell analogue remote controllers for your devices, because this app completely ruins user experience with your products.

Now about devices themselves, I like both the strip and the lamp, but I have a major complaint about the strip. I wanted to be able to set up static gradient with the strip, and it's impossible. You can only have moving gradient and you can't even set up your own colours for the gradient, you're stuck with the rainbow. And that was such a disappointment, you gave me all those LEDs and then you limited my creative ability to use them.

They are pretty good. I am using them in my home and office and they are really helpful for automation of home.

Products work randomly, are defective and are not working as expected. Support is absent and manual is badly written...strongly unrecommended it will give you headaches and you will lose many hours trying to fix issues that should not have existed from very beginning...

Bad sensors pir is random defect.
They trigger without any movement.
They dont care....

J'ai acheté un BRIDGE WIFI RF433 pour une installation domotique le 31 décembre 2021 sur le site néerlandais de SONOFF. Il est tombé en panne 13 jours plus tard. J'ai contacté la société SONOFF a deux reprises pour signaler le problème et demander un remboursement éventuel. RIEN... aucune réponse à mes messages alors que sur le site il est stipulé que la société fera tout pour aider le client. Il me reste juste le choix de mettre cet article de 25 euros à la poubelle. Plus jamais de produits SONOFF pour moi. 1 étoile c'est encore beaucoup trop je trouve. Concerne la commande 202161321.
