Great family business, nice workshop, helpful in design and good quality product.

Spittlywood did an outstanding set of wooden windows for me in my property in Maidstone and i would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have small newbuild property development company called QNEWHOMES LTD. I have been using Steve and Spittlywood for around 3 years. I have found him to be very straight forward and prompt with all correspondence and work. In that time he has completed 8 completely different timber staircases that all required a little head scratching to design. Steve is a pleasure to work with. He completes all his work on time and has never come to me with a price increase or extra cost, completing all work as per his quotes. In addition to multiple staircase he has also completed some high-quality bespoke furniture pieces for use in show homes. I intend to Spittlywood more in the future. I attach a few pics of his completed work for me.

Your carpenter attended my flat today to carry out a difficult little job namely replacing hinges and making good to a door, then fitting draught/sound stripping. He was very professional, polite and even vacuumed up after himself. very good highly recommended

Very disappointed

I wrote to this company with the details of a replacement window project for my property on 29th September.

After a week with no response I phoned this company twice over several days.

It seems that that this company has staffing and or customer service issues as on both occasions I had to leave voice messages.

Still with no response, I made one last attempt using the customer enquiry form on the web site.

After two more days with no response I have given up.

I conclude that a company that is this unresponsive to prospective customers is not one that I would want to engage in a project.

I had spittly wood make my staircase and fit as well as a few other internal bits.

Was made on time and fitted the date they said they would. Outstanding quality and workmanship through out from start to finish clean tidy and reliable. And a pleasure to deal with

2 oak staircases made by Spittlywood

Spittlywood worked with us to design the 2 staircase of our dreams... both were Oak with metal spindles but everything else was completely different.
One was modern contemporary and the other was more traditional... both however had a mid landing with a gallery at the top.

There was some significant challenges for both staircases as we wanted designs that meant the structure had to be more complicated than usual, Splittlywood were very accommodating with our challenging demands and the end products were simply breathtaking.

I really can't recommend them enough, pricing was competitive and the quality was second to none, even after 2 years later neither stairs has even the a slight squeak when you walk up them.

A truly committed professional service and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to others. Very pleased with our new staircase.
