I am extremely happy with the customer service provided by Gee at the Bayfair store. Gee was able to find a lovely Rose Gold Bracelet for me to match the Rose Gold Neck Belcher Chain I had purchased the week before. In fact she managed to find 3 bracelets, from different stores, for me to choose from. A very friendly and helpful lady. This will be my go to person and store for any future purchases.

I went to Stewart Dawson's Bayfair to look for a Seiko watch as a Father's Day gift. I wanted to check out the watches in-store, but the lady working there asked us to go outside to view them through the window. We ended up leaving and bought the Seiko watch at Michael Hill, where we were treated much better.

On Thursday May 24 we went to Stewart Dawsons shop in Queensgate Mall Lower Hutt. We were served by salesmen Tory. We were very impressed by his friendly, professional attitude, his willingness to help and his understanding what we needed. Will done Tory and good for this shop to have such professional salesman.

The guy working at SD Albany on Monday evening was rude and unhelpful. When we asked about a watch I was looking for, he claimed they didn’t sell it if it wasn’t on display, despite it being listed on their website with one in stock. Such lazy and poor customer service!

On the 13th November, I had an amazing experience at Stewart Dawsons Plaza Mall Palmerston North
My engagement ring had got so tight I could not get it off my finger, my husband was going to cut it off, but I thought I’d seek professional help, thinking I would rather the jeweller cut it off than him! Come to find out they are unable to do that!
The 4 associates were totally amazing to say the least, trying to figure out a solution, They mentioned trying the ribbon method, Hannah took the lead with Vicky helping, the other two associates cheering her on, after the second try, we had success!!! It was an amazing experience and we had a good laugh at my fat fingers expense!!!! My ring has been sent to be resized. But more importantly Stewart Dawsons in the Plaza Palmerston North.
Going forward this store now has my business 100%
The Associates are amazing and an asset to your Store! The best service I’ve ever received in a Jewellery Store. I hope they get recognition for the amazing Service they provided for me.

Steward Dawson, you really need to brush up on your customer service and your quality of produce! I am loyal to a company through and through till the end, and buy alot of jewelry. May 28th bought a lovely watch for my partners birthday. My partner went back into the store (Albany Branch) to have links taken out, they recognized the watch immediately and the person who took the links out was amazing, However, 3 weeks later the watch stopped working. We took it back to Stawart Dawson expecting it to be a battery ...... simple fix right ......... no not that easy. The first thing that was asked for was the warranty card. OK Me: Can you not just replace the battery, Answer: no we need to see the warranty card. Me: Here is proof of purchase 3 weeks ago. Answer: we need the warranty card. Me: I'll get the battery replaced somewhere else other than here. The upside for me, I'm looking for an engagement ring I saw one as I was having this little discussion in the cabinet the tag was $6500 that's an expensive battery lesson. Stewart Dawson you have had my one and only sale I well tell this story to whom ever I come in contact with. One last thing Stewart Dawson Albany, i will be lodging a claim through small claims for a total refund as the watch is not fit for purpose, i would of expected a watch to keep going longer than 3 weeks. This has nothing to do with the cost of the product it's to do with the quality of the item purchased. God Bless

I bought blue topaz earrings for christmas gift my friend. It was beautiful then my partner said going to buy one for me so I said thank you and he bought one.And I thought I bought another one for my other friend as well so I bought another one.
Christmas day my partner gave me one so I tried when I looked at the mirror something was wrong it was pale So next day it was Boxing day I went Manukau branch and I would like to swap the earrings this lady went there and went inside and came out said I have to pay more because sales finished.What? I didn't do anything my partner is a men so they thinking don't have to give him a right one so that's why gave him a wrong one and now can't even swap to right one? They made a mistake or purposed and they want me to charge more? I didn't pay more eventually but I waste my time petrol I wasn't happy about at all.What do you think whoever reading my review? I looked at the reviews almost no good reviews I am wondering Stewart dawson got a proper customer service team even?

I recently purchased a pair of earrings. Online they looked like ball earrings and in fact said ball earrings.when they arrived they were half circles with a flat back, not what I wanted at all. I returned them to the store to have them changed. The staff told be due to hygiene rules I couldn’t replace them even though I’d not even taken them out of the box. I’m so upset as it was an expensive purchase and the staff basically didn’t care at all now they have the money which was on Afterpay as it was more than I could afford at the time. I will never buy from them again or pascoes as they are apparently under the same umbrella. Shocking customer service especially when there was not obvious mention of no returns , this should be a banner that shows up that you need to agree to prior to continuing with the payment. I am most upset as I can’t afford another pair :(

I purchased the Tissot (PR100) watch and the next day stopped working probably due to the battery being drained which is okay but the new battery should work for 2 years at least which means they are not maintaining watches properly. According to store policy, they will only give me a store credit and not a refund. Left with no choice and had to wait for 10 working days which ruined my excitement, happiness and craze for my new watch.
Careful before investing your hard-earned money.
The staff is lovely and polite but bound by stupid store policies which spoil the mood of the customer.

My husband bought me a bracelet the lock is a loveheart clasp with a rose on it after a few months the clasp wouldn’t close anymore so i had it exchanged the new one only lasted afrw months i took it back a lady tweaked it it lasted about 4 months so i took it back and was told it was very brittle and may break when they repaired it the best they could do was offer me a double ended clasp to make sure if it broke I wouldn’t loose it it was 180 to 280 ive never been so disappointed in a product or company I will never use them again

I bought a Tissot watch at Manukau Westfield branch on 02-May-2021,( Transaction No: 1036049) spending $1200 for it. Apparently, there were scratches on the side and wristclasp buckle of the watch which I missed seeing when buying it since there was a lack of lighting at the corner where I was shown the watch.
Sadly, Stewart Dawsons refused to replace it with a good unscratched one. I initially wanted a replacement and wasn’t interested in the refund but Stewart Dawsons hid behind with their faulty products like a thief. I spoke and sent an email to their Stewart Dawsons regional manager and he/she refused. The head office didn’t even have the decency to reply to my email for over two weeks. However, at least the store manager of Manukau branch was nice enough from the start trying to help me out. She did mention it was the head office that would look into it and give their decision. I understood where she was coming from. She filled the relevant forms in front of me and she was quite apologetic about it. She even felt bad when she told me of the Stewart Dawsons head office’s decision to refuse exchange or even a refund.
I believe that the watch may have been damaged during handling and transport while on display since it obviously didn’t look like it was worn because the leather straps were practically straight and not bent in anyway as being worn.
What gets me though is that I have purchased so many items from Stewart Dawsons over the years ( over 10 years) including jewellery (rings, necklaces, chains, bracelets) and wven watches and never had any issues but this once it was a different story.
Honestly, I had never imagined that Stewart Dawsons would not replace a faulty product. I wasn’t even asking for a refund then. It’s a shame because Stewart Dawsons has literally tarnished their image which such behaviour and their reputation is questionable. Seems like there is dishonesty and no integrity from their hierarchy and they hid behind the problem and shoved a faulty product onto the innocent customer. It’s alot of money spent on the watch and being expensive, one would expect an honest, fair and genuine trade from their shops.
(Personally I am a watch collector and I brought three of my watches out of the 17 I got to the Manukau store which ranged from 4 to 7 years old without a single scratch…(Longines, Raymond Weil & Tissot).
Shame on you Stewart Dawsons. This reflects very badly on your image, products and stores all over and especially on your head office and the regional manager. The least Stewart Dawsons could do was replace their faulty damaged watch to uphold their reputation.

Boyfriend bought a necklace, decided it was not the right thing, so went to exchange/refund. They annoyingly do not offer refunds, only exchanges for a "price match". There was nothing of the same price so he had no choice but to lose a portion of money. The value of the exchanged item was of less value than the original. They refused to give him the difference in cash. He has previously received a refund from this place, but they denied it should have happened and asked if he remembered the name of the staff member who gave him a refund. They are just trying to get your money and they do not have the interest of the customer as priority. Utterly disappointed. Better off to go somewhere else where they actually care.

Put a ring in to get stone put back in lady wouldn't put in package in front of me she said I do out back which I thought was strange then when went back to pick up they gave me a different ring with a stone the ring was going be a gift for my daughter 16 Birthday I was heArt broken they said I was wrong in know my own ring they could of checked cameras and would of seen I was telling truth Neva trust them

Recently I found a ring at Stewart Dawsons that I fell in love with. The ring was to replace my lost engagement ring. When I told the sales assistant I wanted it she was fine until I told her my insurance company was paying for it and needed a quote first. This was just a formality as my claim was all accepted and the ring I found cost less than my insurance company was happy to pay.

The sales assistant refused to sell me the ring at the advertised sales price because my insurance company was paying for it, apparently it was the "rules". My insurance company had never heard of this and even contacted Stewart Dawsons to find out what was going on, but Stewart Dawsons still refused to sell the ring at the advertised sales price and wanted a further $2.5k from me if I wanted the ring, even though they were getting the full sale price from my insurance company.

I have emailed their head office twice to find out why they would not sell the ring at the advertised sale price, they have not even had the courtesy to respond.

I'm fairly certain this is not in compliance with the fair trading act. I have this week emailed Fair Go to see what they have to say as customers are loosing out just because their insurance company is covering the cost of what they want to buy.
