I have purchased meats from Stilton over a number of years and historically found the quality and customer service was good. However, over the past 6 months, their Delivery and Customer Service has declined significantly. My recent experience was that I placed an order due for delivery on 13/03/26. It did not arrive. They then promised delivery on 20/03/26. Again it did not arrive. I made numerous attempts to contact them by email, phone and text to request a refund. They did not answer. I finally managed to get a refund directly from Paypal. I would caution anyone placing an order with Stilton, as based on other reviews, many purchasers have had exactly the same problems. If matters do not improve, they will not have an online business.

Ordered over £150 worth of meat for a family event. The order did not arrive on the agreed day. In the 2 weeks since I have tried to call them many times but no response and all emails go unanswered. Have raised a issue with card company to try to get money back.

ordered steaks and pork chops and delivery is late by a few days. there’s has been no communication after reaching out and trying to phone multiple times. Disgraceful business practice.

This company have been late delivering 3 of my orders the last one by over a month . They fail to respond to emails , phone calls and direct messages. My last order was 2 items short and no refund has been given . Do not use this company

I have had loads of meat from this place but recently placed order with them and selected delivery day, guess what no email notifaction to say its despatched.
Complained about service and received a long whats app message from James the owner saying that they had problems and he would despatch the order the following week.
He asked for name order No and preferred delivery date the message on whats app has never been opened. So today when meat was supposed to be delivered no parcel booked at dhl .
Sent another whats app message asking for a full refund and told them I would no.longer do business with them ,got message back immediately that they were currently closed and they would deal with it tomorrow.
They are a crap company who refuse to answer the phone.

I ordered some meat on 2 February for delivery on the 11th. It still hasn’t arrived. It has been rescheduled 3 times and the one time the phone was answered the promised callback didn’t happen. Since then I have sent numerous WhatsApp messages and called dozens of times but there is no response and the phone is never answered.
Save yourself the stress and don’t do business with this company: there are plenty of other good, reliable online butchers out there.

Ordered some meat on the 5th of March and was given a delivery date of the 13th. It's now the 27th of March and no sign of anything and no contact from the company. Their phone is continually engaged (disconnected?) yet I am still receiving emails with 'special offers'. I suspect my next step will be the small claims court to recover my money. It's a shame as in the past they were pretty good!

Placed an order on March 5th, acknowledged same day. Delivery to be March 13 but did not arrive. Emailed March 14 with follow-ups on March 16 and March 25 but no replies. Also WhatsApp March 17 but no reply. Phone line is permanently engaged, but using WhatsApp call to the same number just rings and rings. They have now cancelled their 'sales' email address, leaving only 'info'. I have purchased from them previously and had one late delivery but with notification. Meat has generally been of good quality. They are still advertising but it seems that their special offers repeat. I do not like writing negative reviews but it seems this company is now happy to take my money and not honour their contract: is that not fraudulent?

If l could have given no star l would have.
My last few deliveries have either been late or incomplete. This latest escapade has been ongoing since l placed my order on the 6th of February 2026 and my order has still not been delivered.
I understand you have had problems but this has gone beyond a joke.
No response to emails, no answer to phone calls, no response on WhatsApp.
I did have the odd email or two promising a delivery date, alas nothing arrived, another promise of a phone call no phone call. It is a shame that l have been driven to write this review because the quality of meat when it has arrived is fantastic but l doubt if l will order anything again. I will now consider how l go about getting my money refunded, no doubt it will be another disaster.

I have been waiting because i hate writing negative reviews. I placed an order which should have arrived last Friday and now I can’t get hold of them . I have had stuff before which i was pleased with so not sure whether this is a scam or not.
However I have just managed to get hold of Gary and had a great chat with him. He was a lovely guy and held his hands up and admitted they were having problems with logistics. He has promised delivery next Friday, so if that happens I will change my review.
This did start with a one star.

BEWARE….Never use this company
I have tried them twice and never received the order
Tried to contact on numerous occasions and the phone is constantly engaged
This company shouldn’t be allowed to trade
and it is my fault and my stupidity to of given them a second chance

After taking my order and money I’ve heard nothing (apart from spam marketing). No answer / reply on phone, WhatsApp, messenger, email or website forms. It’s nearly a month now. I’ve started a “chargeback” procedure with my bank….

Previously placed order which i paid for, but never got my goods phoned and emailed for over a month with no response. Eventually got a txt saying primise to get my order by the weekend, This never came. Theyve now emailed saying failed order as payment failed. They had the money 6 weeks ago. Ive notified the bank. Also fraud squad looking into it as so many failed deliveries and possible scam. Ime now taking them to court. Ive signed the paperwork at the soliciters and its now in their hands. Lets hope it gets really expensive for them

Terrible customer service! They take your money after which there is no communication, no acknowledgement of emails, a permanently engaged 'phone and, as I write this after a month, still no order!
An extremely frustrating experience.

Missed delivery yet again - ordered on the 11th March for delivery on the 20th March for a mates birthday - no notification and no delivery - not the first time either - wont be ordering from them again as there are far more reliable online butchers

Awful company, not had my order delivered that was due 6 weeks ago. Have tried email, telephone and whatsapp, no response from them whatsoever. Don't place an order with them unless you want your money stolen.

I really hope that the systems etc are sorted soon as ,yes I had problems with delivery, I'm not to go into the story , however eventually delivered.The filet steak parcel that I cooked tonight as a Beef Wellington, was lovely. Please get sorted so customers can receive their order in a timely manner.

I placed an order never arrived!!! Tried to contact you every day for 4 days! Busy! Even messages not replied to! This is the second time ive ordered and the same thing has happend again! Will NEVER use you again, i want a full refund!!!

Order arrived 2 days late after I’d gone away and couldn’t take delivery so was left outside for 3 days.

Tried numerous times to contact them by WhatsApp and email with no response and telephone number was constantly engaged.

Luckily I paid by PayPal so was able to get a refund for spoiled goods.

Although my delivery was a week late and it took the company a number of days to reply to my emails etc, the second delivery date was met and the steak is as requested. I have therefore upgraded by review to 3 stars.
