I love the wool and the choice of colours and the simple pattern that works very well. (Boottees) I first bought a kit via Lakeland then wanted more!

Ordered from the newly restarted stitch and story and was very pleased with the items, quickly delivered and well packed.

Easy to follow pattern! I’m zooming through it as a Christmas gift.

The yarn I ordered came promptly and the colours are great. Great service.

This company pretended to have a sale, to ensure it could receive the maximum amount of cash it could, and then left customers with unfulfilled orders as it went bankrupt the following week. I lost £80 and have not got it back.

Never received the item and no refund given

Never fulfilled my order, never got my money back. Shambles of a company - would never ever ever order from you again. Absolute joke.

I bought the Charlie brown jumper kit at over £100 and it came with two different and very noticeable dye lots. I complained and all i received back was a "15% off your next order" code which didnt work. I wouldn't bother with these kits if i were you.

I just received an email from an independent accountancy firm telling me that Stitch and Story have officially gone bust. They must have known about this for a while but continued taking people's money anyway.

For all those customers who still haven't had a refund, you need to try to claim your money back through your bank, PayPal, Clearpay, or however else you paid. Because you won't be getting it back from Stitch and Story.

Terrible company to order from. I placed and paid for an order. I have never received the goods despite at least x 6 emails being sent to customer services. I have received negative responses and no order. Trying to get my money back. Will never use this company again and cannot recommend

First time buyer. Ordered a knitting kit from S&S mod September. Received the PDF pattern immediately but none of the yarn or material I ordered. I emailed customer service for an update and after telling me there was a staff shortage Stich&Story canceled my order. After a few weeks, I asked for a confirmation that their warehouse was back up and running which I received. I placed another order early October as I really liked the wool colors and since, they’ve been radio silent. I’ve reached out to customer service thrice, but nothing. This is not looking good from everything I’ve read here.

Shocking treatment of customers. They haven't even got the decency to contact customers to let them know. I ordered nearly £190 worth of goods, they stole my money because they must have known they couldn't deliver. Disgraceful, shame on you.

If I could give zero stars I would. Looks like I'm not alone in a long wait to hear a big fat nothing. Ordered 29th September. Have emailed several times and got the generic email once, then nothing. Now trying to get my money back from clearpay.

I have run out of wool towards the end of a project and can’t make contact to order more …. I am very disappointed

Same as everyone else. I placed an order in June for the Mickey Mouse cross stitch and wool. Expected to receive the wool, on contacting them told that the whole order would be dispatched when the pre order items came in. Have nothing since end of August when they said about shipping delays. Absolutely useless!! Nearly £100 order. Have contacted Clearpay to try and get money back.

My order was never delivered, I reached out to Stitch and Story about this and never heard back. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Reading through the recent reviews it appears my experience is similar to others. I ordered on 1st October and have not received my parcel or indeed a shipping notification. Customer service are not responding to my emails or requests to cancel due to the unreasonable delay. Thankfully I paid with PayPal!

No sign of my order. Customer service non existent and getting a standard automated email to say they are experiencing large volumes of emails and you can’t amend your order. All I wanted was a simple answer to the question if they intended to fulfil the order made on 10th October to get the automated reply yet again. Have therefore had no option but to do a charge back on my credit card

Actually zero score . Like everyone else .. no order delivery .. no customer service.
I am going to ask my bank for a refund. So disappointed as I have bought from them before.
So frustrating that you cannot talk to a human being !!!!!!!
Have now made a chargeback claim from my credit card.
Credit card have agreed to refund ! Do ask your bank to help as there is clearly a major issue
