Great at communicating when they needed something

They sent me an application in which I filled out needed a two week bridge loan. Asked for $10,000 and when I saw the amount that they offered, I did not finish filling it out. There was multiple phone calls asking me to finish and then the money just showed up in my account. I reached out telling them. I did not want their money to please take it back in which they have ignored all correspondence. Payments have come out a number of times now, and I have reached out three times in writing asking them to close this loan and take their money back. Today they pulled out another payment. I’m about to lose it….

This bank cashed a Check that said my name on the front, but was signed clearly as Dewey Hernandez- not even in cursive. What kind of bank cashes stolen checks and doesn't even check if the names match?

Just closed my new Chime Visa card. They advertise that this is a credit card. IT IS NOT. You have to self fund your credit available balance. Therefore, this is a debit card not a credit card. Misleading and deceitful operation. Don't touch it.

Not terrible but….
There are plenty of fees to use their “perks”
If you ever plan on using mobile deposit, plan on not having your funds for over a week!!!! And they don’t care so plan accordingly

This company is horrible. These people are nothing more than crooks and thieves. You borrow money, pay it back almost double the amount you borrowed & they still come after you. The owner and staff should be ashamed of themselves. This is a company with poor service and should be investigated.

They female representative was so rude today she talked over me and didn’t hear me out and pretty much told me to let Cash App deal with it. Not helpful at all rushed me off the phone when one of their customers stole over $1000 from me.

This bank will steal money straight out of your card they stole almost 700 by doing multiple online transactions

Got my taxes sent to my chime card then they closed my account for suspicious activity...they are thieves

I wish I could rate Stride Bank -4 stars. They are the parent bank to Chime bank and both entities are incompetent and unprofessional. They closed my accounts with out explanation. Then they said they don't have to have a reason to close any account. I have been with Chime since 2019 and I have not had any problems but not only was my account closed I lost the ability to get my money! Terrible service!!

Chime with stride bank promised funds if you A) have a deposit of 1500 for three months.yes I do meet that.
B)THEY SAY IN THE TV ADD TO HAVE SHOWN USE WHICH I have many.
C)MEET THE ABOVE CRITERIA

I did everything they asked in the tv add and still no increase in spot me.

They are so unprofessional. Not one customer service representative speaks English fluently. The are withholding my money. I will be closing my accounts. Don't use chime stride bank.

I wish I could put 0 stars because this is the WORSE bank I have ever dealt with! They are a freakin scam!! The representatives are rude as heck!! Someone took my money out my account the rude unprofessional rep told me it’s my fault for being irresponsible WHO IN THE HECK IS IN CHARGE OF THIS BUSINESS IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED & SHUT DOWN!!!!!

I am writing to express my profound concern regarding a recent experience I encountered with Chime/Stride Bamk that has left me both shocked and distressed.

After initiating a case with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to assert my rights, I was taken aback by the subsequent actions of Chime It appears they gained unauthorized access to my direct deposit account, resulting in the decline of my payment. Subsequently, I received a notification from Stripe that directed me to contact my bank for clarification.

During my interactions with customer service representatives, I was met with an alarming level of confusion and unprofessionalism. One representative, seemingly unable to comprehend the gravity of my situation, abruptly threatened to close our conversation and contact law enforcement over alleged threats that I never made. This left me bewildered, as I have always maintained a respectful and non-threatening demeanor in all my communications.

Furthermore, a different representative I spoke with over the phone exhibited a lack of seriousness regarding my account issues, laughing with colleagues in the background while discussing my situation. It became evident that my direct deposit had been mistakenly redirected to a credit card account and subsequently paid to a company identified as a scam by Chime weeks prior. This mismanagement is not only alarming but also raises significant questions about the integrity and security of your services.

As a customer, I find it deeply troubling that such behavior—characterized by confusion, dismissal, and a lack of professionalism—could be tolerated within your organization. It has led me to feel vulnerable and frustrated, particularly as I was in a state of panic regarding a higher deposit for major car repairs for my business.

I drive for Lyft, and Lyft Direct is the payment mechanism thru Stride Bank. My account information was compromised somehow and they stole my money PLUS the overdraft protection I had.I cannot get anyone to help me. They act like I’m lying even in the face of the fact I filed a police report. They haven’t told me when I’ll get my money back. They CANNOT EVEN TELL ME HOW MY ACCOUNT WAS USED FOR PURCHASES AT 7-11 & Walmart without a PIN. They haven’t responded to my inquiries. They suck. They’re disrespectful. The people they have answering the phone are not professional.

Payment limits are ridiculous, can't pay my car payment because as an adult they have decided I can't be trusted to use more than 500 dollars of my own money in a day. I'll be ending my relationship with their bank.

One VIP (a prepaid Banking service issued by Central Service Corporation DBA Stride Bank, National Association) received a payment deposited into a bank account in my name from Horne TN ERAP2 (Tennessee Emergency Rental Assistance Program) on April 10th, 2023.

I was initially told that a $8,350.00 deposit exceeded the OneVip deposit limit and they were going to return the deposit to the originating Bank. However, 2 days later I was contacted by a OneVip Representative who informed me that if I could provide documentation for the purpose of identity verification I would be able to access my funds. I Provided a photocopy of my State Driver License. OneVIP decided that it wasn't sufficient and the account was labeled fraud. Shortly after, OneVIP closed my account. (Why would OneVIP tell me the amount deposited exceeded the direct deposit terms and conditions then ask me to provide a photocopy of my Driver License?)

I Have Called Customer Service Countless times and corresponded via email numerous times as well only to be Given the "run around". It's Been 14.5 months since the money was deposited into my account and they still have the money. It has not been returned to the sender (the originating Bank) and I have never been able to access any of the Emergency Rental Assistance funds that were granted to me. I'm on the verge of being in default of my mortgage and my property being foreclosed on. The way OneVip has handled this situation has made me very reluctant to ever trust any future Banks or Financial institutions

I have a dispute for chime that's $44.92 that was denied because the dispute department there filed it wrong then the 2nd and 3rd agent said they corrected it which they didn't. The rebuttal was denied too and Stride Bank is the FDIC that insures chime but all they do is tell you to contact regular chime support by hitting option 3 which is no different than regularly calling chime. At this point the merchant scammed me i provided proof and still no refund just denials. Stay away from Stride and Chime because they are useless and untrained. I filed reports with the financial bureaus along with the attorney generals for Oklahoma for Stride and California for Chime along with BBB and im not quitting until i get my money back. Their social media pages and LinkedIn will also get the full story posted. They also post an email that I've already contacted to make it appear as though they are giving me some information I don't have and they ultimately probably will do absolutely nothing to resolve this complete and utter joke scammed out of my money. Terrible company just hangs up you and directs you to chime support or gives the email like actual drone robots that never deter from their programming. Anything to just ignore actual issues people have. The worst crap I've ever dealt with the most awful company ever. I'd imagine any reviews with more than 2 stars are employees friends or paid reviews so it's not as bad as the rating should actually be because they are a joke.
