MY JOURNEY AT RHIBMS AND WHY YOU CAN STUDY ABROAD TOO
My name is Milo Anthony Ngoe. I studied for my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Logistics and Transport Management under the Faculty of Business and Management, at Redemption Higher Institute of Biomedical and Management Sciences (RHIBMS), Buea Cameroon.
At RHIBMS, I obtained First Class Honors and secured Grade A (Highest Rank) in my Project Defense. My final year research was on Analyzing the impact of Same-Day-Delivery (SDD) on Customer Satisfaction in E-Commerce, Kribi Cameroon.
Alongside my studies, I completed a 2-year volunteerism period that gave me real field experience.
If you are a student at RHIBMS, Cameroon or Africa reading this , yes it is possible to further your studies abroad. RHIBMS may be a small institute, but the training is practical, the lecturers are strict, and an A is truly earned. That discipline is respected abroad.
My advice: take your defenses seriously, keep your grades high, and do volunteerism to gain experience. I am now pursuing my Master's at Erasmus University Rotterdam, one of the best universities in the world for logistics.
Why abroad? Because logistics is global. To understand how ports like Rotterdam manage sustainability and digital supply chains, and to bring that knowledge back to develop our own Kribi Port and Cameroon's e-commerce sector, we need international exposure.
If I did it from RHIBMS, you can do it too. Focus, stay disciplined, and believe.
