Repeated false declarations to HMRC of my earnings as a former employee. I'm owed £4000, Sunrise have made repeated false declarations of my earnings which I have evidenced to HMRC and legal representatives. Example - p45 states earnings of £3141 between April 5th 2025 and today, June 29. Actually payment received is zero. Names of staff at Sunrise responsible now with HMRC and legal representatives. When challenged about this by email, the payroll staff admitted to some 'admin issues '.

Whatever you do, stay well clear of this company. Whether you are an employee, subcontractor, or potential partner. Sunrise Energy Solutions are the worst company myself and others have worked for. This is a review to warn anyone to steer clear look elsewhere before you get made to look like an absolute fool.

If you see any customer reviews about how well they are doing and how happy customers are, just know that the reviews are made up by staff members with the IT team themselves to get business.
They don’t carry out thorough risk assessments and only do half jobs when it comes to the roofing aspect of the job. If you get an installation now, you will only have leaks in the future.
Customers requiring service calls and scaffolding removed will wait months on end to be seen. You will either wait a long time for your solar panel system to be looked at. AS for scaffolding, customers could wait months for the scaffold to be taken away.
Every month, all staff members had monies missing from their wages (that were also always paid late). When asked the question, they blamed it on an invisible accountant that never existed.
In the month of April, all staff that were employed on the day of pay via an email that we would not be paid and were told we would get paid anywhere between 2 days and 2 months. Make of that what you will. They took no accountability and blamed it on ‘apparent investment’
They currently owe 15-20 employees a total of around £20000 - £30000 in unpaid wages. This is all after making them all redundant within the space of 2-3 weeks. Most of those former employees are reporting them to ACAS and HMRC because they refuse to communicate with staff unless it's a communication that favours them i.e ridiculous repayment plans. In the midst of all of that, they have also changed their correspondence address to Manchester just to further the chance of communication.
Furthermore, they sent all employees a ‘Cease to Desist’ letter when they owe everybody money.

Cut a long story short, the way Sunrise Energy Solutions is as if they can just owe people money and they will just sit around. Previous employees are still currently unemployed, being unable to pay mortgages and bills and the only response you get is ‘it’s out of our control’.

All this after working there for less than 12 months!

WHOEVER you are, stay clear of this company otherwise you will regret it, especially if you are expecting to get paid.
