Bueno no e tenido problemas con el equipo pero e tenido problemas con la compañía de Energía que suple al pais no me permite usar el quito por el alto voltaje que recibo tengo que usarlo solo con energía solar.

My electric bill is going down

We just started our first month of service and so far everything is working fine. However I need to address the unsatisfactory issue with the District Manager Sherry Ali who came to our home to offer the service. To get us to sign up he told us that SunRun will replace our old 1980s electrical panel to make it more “solar ready” - that never happened. Their electricians/tech just hooked everything up to our old panel and we even had a breaker trip one time after installation. They told us that the new panel installation was not included in the work order by the sales agent. Next Mr Ali told us that we will get the introductory promo of 6 months free service. That never happened, we are billed for next month for the service. He also mentioned that together with the service there will be a promotion of getting a free security service similar to ADT which we can opt out after a year. That also didn’t happen.

My advice to people being approached by these sales agents is to have them WRITE DOWN all the promotions/promises they are telling you to get you to sign up. Otherwise if you try to ask anyone from the company they will just tell you that “it was not documented in your account”. And if you try contacting the sales agent, he will now actively “ghost” you because you’re already in. His work is done.

Pretty sure SunRun has a great service, I’ll find out down the line. But they sure have some shady sales representatives going around.

UPDATE:
This review was responded to by what seem to be an automated system by SunRun. The response was made 7 days ago and yet I have not received any texts or emails or anyone from the company reaching out to me regarding this issue.

If PGE power is out the system shots down and stops charging the battery. So it becomes useless in a prolonged PGE outage. A another person told me that is not true with my Tesla battery system.Support is also poor

Lies, lies, lies!
John Segala came to our door with his super Christian act. He said our PGE bill would drop dramatically and with the monthly solar payment and we would save significantly. That was true the first month and the PGE bill has increased every month to the point that we pay the same amount as we did before except now we have a 25 year lease. They are the snake oil salespeople your mother warned you about!

Well I haven't said one exaggerated statement. They responded to our review and offered to help. The support said they would reach out to me on 3 separate occassions. They didn't follow through the first 2 times and apologized and set up a call they would for sure make. He never called and that was a week ago. You will get screwed by them. BUYER BEWARE!

Avoid Sunrun — Unreliable equipment and misleading customer service

Bought a house with an existing Sunrun lease, and it has been a nightmare. The system constantly shuts off, and it takes them 3+ weeks every time just to dispatch a technician to fix it. Our inverter recently failed, leaving us with sky-high summer electric bills while waiting for repairs.

The worst part is the customer service. Multiple representatives promised we were protected by a performance guarantee and would receive a credit for underproduction. Each representative promised to call me back with details, but no one ever did. After chasing them down, I was finally told we get nothing because performance is averaged over the full lease period. Complete disregard for the customer and empty promises. Stay away.

The last two months we have had high electric bills. Not sure if our system size is adeqyto meat our needs

We have been generally satisfied with the performance of the solar panels and the battery. We just need a bit time to see if it was cost effective. as
