Our furnace stopped working just as it…
Our furnace stopped working just as it started to get cold here in Colorado. I have a home warranty so I started a ticket and Superior Home Comfort responded to the job. They scheduled to come out and then, shortly after, I received a message that they pushed back the appointment to the following week. Again, the furnace was out and there was no heat. I called and a woman named Olivia answered. She said that she did not know why the appointment was changed but she would look into it. She said that she received a message from the warranty company to reschedule. I then called the warranty company and asked them why they pushed back the appt. They said that they hadn’t changed the appt and asked if I could hold while they called Superior Home Comfort. After a couple minutes, the warranty company came back on the line and said that they spoke with a woman named Olivia who told them that she pushed back the appt because they were short on service techs. I called and asked Olivia about it and she got upset with me. She said that she didn’t have time for this. When the service tech finally did arrive the following week, Olivia said that they wouldn’t be able to return for the repair for another week. I decided to take them off the job and go with a different company. The next company came out that day and returned in two days with all the parts required to fix the furnace. I figure, if Superior Home Comfort is going to be dishonest about some very basic stuff, there’s no way that I can trust them with a repair. The whole experience left me with the feeling that they weren’t at all interested in getting the job done in any reasonable amount of time. My advice, stay away from Superior Home Comfort.
