Buyer beware!!!
Buyer beware!!!! I called Supply Stop to ask them to help match an outdoor lantern that I bought to a pole that I needed - the gentleman who helped me was very patient and looked through his inventory and made a suggestion of a black one (the lantern was a dark bronze) from the same
Brand. I was concerned it would not match and he assured me I could return it if it didn’t match - it didn’t match - when I requested a return through their system (that clearly accepts returns) I was told I would have to pay for the return … it is an oversized long heavy box and for a consumer without a shipping account it would be extremely expensive - considering it does not indicate for returns the return shipping costs are on the buyer ANYWHERE on their website and a salesperson literally never provided that additional info I replied I needed more assistance because this was not what I was told. I am still awaiting an answer and considering contacting my credit card for intervention. A 10% restocking fee would be customary in these cases at the most (despite most reputable online merchants providing free returns these days) but this is too hard - I hate shopping Amazon and prefer to support smaller companies but this company was misleading and not above board with their policies !!!!
