A breeze to implement with excellent support

As long-time WordPress developers, we have been used to the complexity and ever-changing nature of WooCommerce, but last year, in the midst of an urgent re-platforming project for a nonprofit, we took a chance on SureCart and we don't think we'll ever look back!

Part of why we trusted SureCart is because Pee-Aye Creative makes add-ons for it. We figured that if Nelson Miller trusts them, we could trust them, too. We are so glad we did.

There is definitely a learning curve for implementation (we spent a lot of time migrating customers from the previous platform into SureCart), but SureCart support has been there for us, every step of the way. Their support is promptly responsive, diligent in follow-up, and treat us with respect. Following KB articles to configure the settings was easy and straightforward - it made it a breeze to get our client set up exactly as they wished.

Our client remains quite happy with the tool as well (which was crucial for us in this case, as we provide them ongoing support and dev services), and the ability to govern multiple stores while isolating each store for our clients has been great. Our license is one that doesn't require ongoing fees, but during our initial vetting of the product, the fees were reasonable enough that we didn't hesitate to buy.

We can't wait for the next chance to use SureCart in our next ecommerce implementation. We expect to move at least one of our existing customers that's on Woo over to SureCart alongside a theme upgrade later this year.

I installed Surecart on my website…

I installed Surecart on my website because it seemed like a good light weight option compared to woo. While setting up my shop I had a few styling problems that I couldn't figure out. Reached out to them and got response rather quickly. The response was very clear and helped my figure out my problem right away. Would highly recommend them as a great product and just as good customer support.

Smooth Setup and Easy Store Management

SureCart: Easy Setup, Great Support

SureCart was easy to set up. I've missed some features I knew from WooCommerce but Woo was also riddled with tech hiccups, complexity and constant upsells, which I do not miss.

SUPPORT
The SureCart support team is responsive and helpful. I have been able to quickly resolve obstacles with their help. Ivan has been amazing.

CUSTOMIZATION
SureCart is easier to use, but that also means it's built for the general user, not a developer. That's a good thing, but also means you'll either have to wait for more advanced features to be released for the no-code public, or hire a developer for those areas. SureCart has a great knowledge base for developers to help implement customizations, e.g. Quantity Selector for minimum order volume.

With a software so vital to business success, great customer support has become the deciding factor for me. I'd give SureCart ten stars if that was possible!

Best eCommerce Plugin for WordPress

I just love how SureCart has everything in one place while still being so easy to use. I'm not a techie and still I was able to set my store up in minutes without an help. Deleted half of my old plugins for abandoned cart recovery, order bumps, upsells and invoice generation. Navigating is so much lighter. Infact the site feels more lighter now.

Surecart is a great option for a…

Surecart is a great option for a shopping cart within wordpress.
It is not perfect by any means. I have encountered quite a few issues that were my fault, and not able to find online assistance, or where the software has room to grow.
On the absolute positive side, their support is incredible. I have pestered the heck out of them with many issues on a recent project. They have come back every time with a solution or a comment that they will add the issue to their development process. For this reason I give them a high 5!

I must clarify that I am a registered user on their site and before contracting their service I analyzed the terms and conditions and found a part of the clause that really gives them rights to your content, the clause was quickly changed after this notice and they will probably modify it again to continue taking advantage of the content of unsuspecting customers.

Surecart is exhausting and flawed when it comes to design.

While surecart has everything in one place, it is extremely infuriating to work with. I put in all this time working the stupid block editor into a design that I like for whatever page I need for surecart, and then suddenly it 'forgets' all the work I have done and goes back to being shit and all over the place. I've lost count just how many times this has happened. I set everything up, feeling satisfied but then BAM, the next day surecart DECIDES to change things around and mess it all up all on its own. I'm exhausted tbh.
ps. NO, the Elementor features don't help either, because either way, it keeps messing everything up anyway.

I’m really sorry for the frustration here. Losing layout work is the worst feeling, and that’s absolutely not the experience we want you to have.

This is the first report we’ve seen of designs “resetting” themselves overnight, so we’d love to dig in with you and figure out what’s going on. A few details would help us reproduce and fix this quickly:

- Did you already open a support ticket about this? If yes, could you share the ticket ID so we can pull the full history?

- Which page(s) are affected (checkout, product)?

- Any caching in play (hosting/server cache, a cache plugin, CDN) and whether purging cache brings the layout back.

- Rough steps to reproduce (even if it’s “I save, it looks fine, and the next day it’s scrambled”).

- If possible, a short screen recording.

In the meantime, a couple quick things you can try:

- Save, then hard refresh and view the page in a private window to rule out a stale cache.

- Temporarily disable caching and optimization/minification to see if something is rewriting the page structure.

I am very disappointed with my…

I am very disappointed with my experience with SureCart and the related plugins.

I didn’t just purchase several SureCart (Scale Legacy) licenses, but also invested heavily in other products from the team (SureMembers, SureTriggers, SureDash, etc.). Today, the new lifetime plans are significantly cheaper, and my older plan gives me virtually no benefit since I don’t use subscription models.

What’s worse: with technical support requests, the responses are always polite, but actual solutions often take months — or never arrive. It feels as though the hope is that customers simply forget about their issues. I’ve experienced this several times myself, and with my most recent case I haven’t received any response in over 11 days.

There’s another issue too: in their official Facebook group, posts are only allowed with admin approval. Negative reports or criticism are rejected outright, and if a neutral post turns critical in the comments (because many people share their frustrations), the entire post simply gets deleted. This kind of censorship makes it very hard for customers to have an honest discussion.

From my perspective, this approach is unacceptable. I will no longer recommend SureCart to any of my clients. And I’m not the only one: many others in Facebook groups and developer communities have shared similar experiences.

In the end, this feels extremely unfair to early buyers and loyal customers — and I cannot recommend making a long-term investment in these products.

Support has asked me to add this message here:

The support team spent a lot of time trying to find a solution. As always, the support was very friendly. They proposed some solutions that unfortunately did not meet my expectations. For this reason, I rejected their proposals and made my own suggestion, which was also rejected. Therefore, we were unable to find a solution.

After spending hours with the support team trying to find a solution without success, I ultimately decided to leave everything as it is. I simply do not have any more time to deal with this issue.

Just to clarify what this is actually about:

The Black Friday promotion in 2023 was advertised as a “super duper deal that would never come back.” At that time, SureCart was still in a very early stage. I wanted to support the project, believed in it, and trusted the marketing promise.

Looking back, the offer turned out to be a disaster. The regular prices today are significantly lower, which means I effectively lost several thousand euros. If I were to buy the same thing today, I would pay thousands of euros less.

Yes, it’s true that I’m saving on subscription fees, but that doesn’t help if you’re not actually using a subscription model.

To put it in numbers: I paid around $4,000 for 5 lifetime licenses during the 2023 Black Friday deal. In 2025, the regular price (without any discount) for 5 lifetime licenses is $999.

That’s why I’m unhappy with how this has turned out — and I know I’m not the only one in the community who feels this way.

For readers’ clarity: this ticket was not about a malfunction in SureCart, but about billing - specifically, a request for a refund nearly two years after purchase (our published refund window is 14 days). This review was left during that ongoing discussion. During this discussion, we still offered multiple goodwill options outside policy, including (a) converting his legacy Scale licenses to a current 5-store or Unlimited lifetime plan with a refund of the difference, or (b) an alternative refund calculation based on Launch-plan costs. At his request, we even attempted and completed one plan refund as a test, which you later confirmed received. Then he declined the plan conversion option and chose not to proceed further.

Regarding “no advantage” of his legacy plan: the Scale (Legacy) license permanently waives subscription billing costs - a benefit not included in current plans. He stated that isn’t valuable to him today because he doesn't sell subscriptions, even though he had numerous posts in our community about selling subscriptions. Regardless this remains a meaningful difference for many customers.

Because our offer of converting his plan was rejected, we concluded that this was likely a case of someone wanting a refund 2 years after purchasing a plan with us. But despite that we still offered many options and spent a lot of time trying to make him happy.

Patrick we’re grateful you engaged with us at length, even if we didn’t land on the outcome you wanted.

I LOVE SureCart

I have this habit of wandering into things with all the lights off. I wanted to sell my books direct, which meant I needed a place to do that. It didn't matter that I'd never built a store of any kind.

But I will do my homework once I've committed to the madness, and SureCart seemed to check all the boxes for someone who didn't have a clue. I wasn't wrong. It's insanely flexible, giving me room to be as mad as I need to be. And the tech support...

Oh, they are the best ever. EVER. I have website experience, but creating a store, out of the box, and not going bald in the process... I couldn't have done it without the TRULY FAST, effective, and generous support of the devs and techs at SureCart. They are amazing. Their product is incredible. I can never, ever, say thanks enough for all they've done to help me build my dream.

GO BUY IT! :-)

Great product

Great product, better than woocommerce! Adam and the team are very responsive to any support requests. I have had a couple of niggly issues but the way they were dealt with gives me confidence in Adams team. Great job guys and girls!
