Swellpro customer service is #1 in the drone industry and this is why. I have dealt with more then 10 companies, such as Autel, Dji, Holystone, and Skydio over the past 6yrs and Swellpro is king #1. From mid Sep. 2025 until just a few days ago (as a second owner of an SD4 a discontinued product) their support covers everything from the incredible technical support, which literally spans from China to US. Individual's that go out of their way to ensure that the customer is satisfied with their purchase and that their product is working 100%. They take real pride in their products and it shows. From personal sometimes hour long technical support to part replacement, they stand alone. not even Dji (they offer good replacement service) and Autel you get no service and no replacements is nothing like the time and care that Swellpro offers.
Individuals like Laura in China and RJ here in the US and all of their employee's as well as their pride in their product that make Swellpro #1 in the drone industry for customer support.
On a side note, I wrote this on my own because of my many personal experiences with Swellpro as well as several other drone companies over a 6+ yr period of time.

Cheap China made products
Cheap China made products. Customer service is non existent. I have used two drone from them and have had nothing but issues. Go with another brand if you want your moneys worth.
Mean machine
I brought a FD2 fishermax drone solid as i crashed it into rocks broken bits of the parpellers and still it continues to fly in gusty winds up to 20 plus knots.

If you have an Apple device and want a drone, it’s critical you NOT purchase from Swell Pro.

hey guys i have a really bad experience with swellpro drone, I ordered a drone and my drone was defective, so i requested a new one or my refund and they don't have live customer service for refund only emails, i got a email back telling me that they can't send me my full amount only half of what I paid. they are stealing from me, I NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO USED IT. What kind of customer service it is that? DO NOT BUY FROM SWELLPRO THE WILL SEND YOU A REFURBISHED DRONE

Dron NOT fit for purpose. NOT water proof!!!
I am an electrical Engineer and I purchase the Swellpro 4 drone, in covit lockdown.
Immediately on receiving it the camera would not work. After much emailing they agreed to repair. So I returned for repair.
I got it back a few week later and flew it as practice three short flights about 10-15 mins each.
I then put it away as I need to work.
6 month laster I flew it again and then on the fourth time I flew it I landed it on the water as it is intended to do.
It never worked again. By now It was out of the initial 12month warranty, even thought it had been away for repair in this time,
Now they will repair my drone for $A2000.00
I paid over $A4000.00 for this drone which has been nothing but a problem.
It has cost me $A1000.00 per flight.
Clearly this drone is NOT fit for purpose and I recommend that you do not deal with this company. They do not care about their customers and do not support their product.

Very shady company
Very shady company. Wasted $3000 on a drone that was sent to us used and had nothing but issues. Company refuses to allow us to return for a refund even though we never flew the drone. Drone came from CA but camera came from China two weeks later only after we emailed and asked, Where the heck is our camera? "After sales" representatives only answer emails in the middle of the night because they are all based in China and have a language barrier. Reps regurgitate info from the manual, but the manual does nothing for a used drone that does not work!! Company should be shut down as they are not legitimate and are ripping people off. These pieces of junk are not cheap so STAY AWAY from this company!

I ordered the Master Fisherman package that has the dronar fish finder in it. I paid extra money to have it shipped and tracked through UPS. I don’t really trust the USPS free shipping rout. I will admit I was nervous ordering from SwellPro.com after reviews I read, but I took a gamble and rolled the the dice hoping the bad reviews were isolated. Everything that I ordered did eventually arrive. I say eventually because one piece I was expecting in the first tracking didn’t arrive in the first box. So, obviously I was nervous even more at that point. But, everything did arrive and according to tracking info. A Swellpro rep also did answer my requests for information on the order within the same day- usually within a few hours. All the items were in factory new condition and packaging. The boxes didn’t even have a single dent in them. I only give 4 stars at this time because I haven’t flown the drone yet. The batteries charge as the should in accordance with the operator’s manual instructions- HINT! Read the manual first.
Not a bird, or a plane, but a brick
Had to send it to 3rd party repair center in Virginia after first flight because it decided to forge its own path into some trees. $350
later for repair i get it yesterday and the second maiden voyage i get it up to about 50 feet and then i hear it death rattle. And then it became the worlds most expensive brick and fell out of the sky and shattered everywhere. THE ONE STAR REVIEWS ON HERE ARE LEGITIMATE. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Rubbish drone, poor customer service.
Rubbish drone, fell out of the sky the first time I used it. The company insisted that I crashed it, which I did not, I am an experienced drone user and know what I am doing. They offered to repair it but it took them three weeks to return it and it is still not fixed. The drone is obviously defective but they have refused a full refund. They have offered to repair it again, but I have now had it for two months, most of which time it has been with them for repair. Expensive rubbish, unacceptable customer service.
Have had a Spry+ for less than two (2)…
Have had a Spry+ for less than two (2) years. Have practiced a lot with the Spry+ drone as it is not as near as stable in the air as a DJI drone. Compass, gyro and also IMU have to be calibrated before each flight day and sometimes even before each flight to have a somewhat stable flight. You also need to have close to no wind and 10+ satellites connected.
Beside all these precautions taken the drone recently started hopping and dancing around in the air and sounding weird. I immediately commanded the Spry+ drone to fly out over the lake, where I was getting ready to film, to make an emergency landing. The Spry+ drone completely ignored my commands and flew in the direct opposite direction crashing into trees and falling 8-10 meters to the floor of the forest and breaking off the GPS antenna.
I wrote a kind mail to Swellpro explaining the events and kindly asked for a warranty repair or replacement. Swellpro replied: "You can send your drone to our distributor in the UK and negotiate with him about the cost of repairs".
I will of course not send more good money after the bad money I have spent on this way too expensive Spry+ drone concerning the quality in both the product and the (non-existing) service.
I cannot give Swellpro any recommendations and would instead recommend anyone looking to buy a drone to stay with the proven and excellent quality of DJI drones.

Bought a splashdrone3 a year ago…..used 10 days and it failed……lost all it’s programming…..sent a email to swellpro ……..they won’t respond……STAY AWAY!!!

This could go 5 star if Swellpro manufacturers sort out my spry plus to the same degree the excellent service I've so far received from Swellpro uk .
The product is good when it works but I'm sure mine has an intermittent problem which so far I feel confident will get sorted.

UPDATE... A bit disappointed with Swelpro at first but faith fully restored by Nicolas Spence of Swellpro UK. He sorted everything out and more.. I did not get mine from him but did buy a lot of additional items from him. He took.my case on and resolved it.
If you are going to buy o e of these drones go nowhere else. This is very good solid advise.
Swellpro is a wanna be A drone company
Swellpro is a wanna be A drone company. At best their products are below average. Their customer service is non existent. I purchased a splashdown 4 drown with a 3 axis 4 k camera. The camera came in an opened package, no gimbal or camera guard just rolling around a plastic shipping bag out of the half styrofoam box that it was packaged in. The were no clear decals on the lens that the instructions say to remove and the accompanying screws and washer were loose in the package. This clearly was not a new camera and was likely a return. I contacted the the company explaining that I attached the camera and it did not respond to the joy stick control for the camera or was laggy and slow when it did. They asked me to send a video and their reply was that they did not see anything wrong which means that their product is complete garbage or they don’t care to stand by their product like a DJI would. I had to dispute the charge based on defective merchandise because I got no where to get them to replace the camera. Do not buy anything from this company directly as there are hidden customs issues as well. Waterproof drone is a great concept but this drone is not equivalent in quality to the most entry level DJI drone. Does not hold altitude and it drifts terribly. Video loses signal at 120 ft. The only positive aspect is that it’s a good looking drone but looks don’t fly. Sooooi disappointed
Broken junk
Broken junk, does not come from Swell Pro comes from some guy named Kirk LiU when you buy from the site. Took days to get ahold of customer service by email only wanted me to ship it to China, says it came from MO extremely shady stay way!
They don't stand behind their product
I purchased a complete Splashdrone 3+ with 4K camera and extra batteries and a couple of other accessories. The drone appears to work fine though I have not tested the unit in the water, yet. My issue is more with the companies service, mind you I spent $3200 in total with their online website. The unit I received had a knob that was cracked at the shank, I reported that to the warranty group and they basically said I needed to send the unit to their repair shop and they would charge me a $180 fee to process it. If that doesn't seem ridiculous enough, as part of my order I had a $99 datalink receiver that is suppose to connect to my iphone via bluetooth, and I told them that my iphone 10xs would not support the connection, their solution to this is for me to return the unit at my expense to china and they would refund me the original price. $40 to ship back something they misrepresented. Doesn't make a lot of sense. One thing is for sure , long term they will not survive, their customer service stinks. If I had known I would not have purchased from them.

Not only was it an issue coming through customs but when I receive the package it was missing the camera and the Kimball. This company has only an international phone number which I could not call from the states. I emailed them several times only to get a response saying that it came with the camera. I will be asking for a refund and charging my credit card back immediately stay away from this company!! I ordered the Splash Pro three it was supposed to come with a 4K camera and gimbal.
