I'm not going to lie, there has been a bit of frustration with communication following the install but it would be unfair to taint the score to the extent that it detracts from what has been as professional installation as you could ask for by engineers who take pride in their work and deliver. Our install could have been simpler but I wanted a route for the external pipework that was easier on the eye albeit more cumbersome to install. That was achieved through hard work and good skills. All who attended the site were polite, cleaned up after themselves and were no trouble to have around. Special mention has to go to Lawrence, who was the mainstay of the install and whose skill-set and warm personality make him an ideal ambassador for Swift. As for the finished article, it does take some getting used to lower water temperatures for both the domestic hot water and the central heating that are far below those from the gas boiler. But it does work. In fact, having just put the heating on for the first time the house is warmer than we have ever known it. I struggle to reconcile how this can be but there it is. It's worth mentioning that we have underfloor heating both up and down which works well with heat pumps. Not only warmer but quieter too. Both manifolds had pumps that were not the quietest and the gas boiler itself liked to be heard. We cannot hear the heat pump unless we go outside near it. It's too early to comment on running costs but my gut and the price of gas tells me we're on to a winner.

Having arranged a site visit with James from Swift Heating Solutions we were given a quotation which included a grant for the replacement of our oil boiler with an air source heat pump.
On the day of installation Mason and Ryan arrived with the equipment and started work. They quickly established a route for the pipework which allowed minimal disruption. Unfortunately they discovered wasps in the loft space and whilst this was bieng dealt with carried on with the rest of the installation.
They removed the oil boiler and replaced it with the heat pump, fitted pipes up the side of the house into the roof space and continued until they were able to access a cupboard and then straight into the airing cupboard.
During this time Drew the Electrician and Tom the apprentice arrived to carry out the electrical work. Again this was done extremely professionally.
Everyone was professional but friendly and knowledgeable and made a fuss of our dog Teddy who found it very exciting searching amongst the many bags and boxes.
When the installation was finished everything was explained thoroughly before they left. The areas where work had gone on were left clean and tidy.
Almost immediately we had a warm house. We had found that with our oil boiler the radiators would create hot spots which went cold as soon as the timer turned the boiler off. We were very mindful about overriding the timer because of the cost of oil so often found the house got cold. With the air source heat pump it now feels like we have one radiator heating the whole house and it is continuously warm.
We did have one issue with the pump in the airing cupboard sounding noisy at night and contacted Swift. The next morning, Saturday, Darren called us and we had a video call, in the cupboard, whilst he went through the system operation again with us. He asked us to alter a couple of times etc and suddenly the pump was much quieter and we now have the water heating at the cheaper times.
So far we are very pleased with the service Swift Heating Solutions have provided, it outweighs what we had thought we were getting.

I cannot sing the praises of the Swift team strongly enough. Every element of my dealings has been exemplary, from the initial assessment of the house and its suitability for a heat pump, to the ordering, purchasing and grant application processes(entirely undertaken by the Swift team), to the delivery, fitting and electrical wiring of the pump. Every single element went without a hitch.
Special mention must be made of the work ethic, reliability, politeness, and technical knowledge of Lawrence and Harry who installed the pump and plumbed it in, and Drew and Tom who fitted the electrics and got it working. Seldom have I experienced a more effective, no nonsense team of tradesmen who got on with the job in such a cheerful and helpful way. Thank you so much.

I cannot speak more highly of Darren and Harry, Swift Heating Solution Engineers. Ours was a big refit for a heat pump and throughout the whole process, they were respectful of us and our home. They were tidy and efficient, and have done an amazing job. More than that, they were happy to return to explain everything to us, so that we were clear about the workings of our system. I thoroughly recommend them.

Lawrence, Danny, and Will fitted our new air-source heat pump over three days. They did an incredible job. They were clean and tidy; nothing was too much, and they fitted the new system to the existing copper pipework and hot water cylinder. They arrived early in the morning and left late. They left areas where they had been working immaculate. They worked so hard, and we were extremely pleased with the result. Lawrence ran through the controls and set up the hot water to work with our EV tariff. Highly impressed with their standard of work and work ethic as well. A very pleased customer.

The team were booked in for 0800 Monday morning for a 3 day job, of removing my gas central heating system and replacing it with a full air sourced heating system. From the very first introduction they were punctual, polite and very professional. In no space of time they made the house safe to work in and started removing the obsolete equipment and insured all the new equipment that was delivered by third parties was correct. Requiring very little from myself they powered through the first 2 days ensuring the time line for completion was kept, culminating in a full system pressure check and set to work, before given us a comprehensive but simple teaching on how the system is maintained and operated. Heat pump works ok but if had a leak since fitting, nearly a year that Swift have failed to fix. The worst part is they never reply to emails or phone calls and it’s always upto me to chase them . Can’t recommend them due to aftersales service.

To rub salt in the wound one of the only calls I had was to ask me to pay for a annual maintenance contract on the heat pump they can’t stop leaking!

Swift sent 2 delightful young men Darren and Harry, who were so effient and thorough.
They fitted the heat pump, tank and controls during a heatwave but just go on with it.
They tidied up every evening leaving the bungalow as if they had not been there.
They always made sure that we were happy with whatever they did.
The electrians were equally effient and thorough.
Darren explained the system and made sure we understood how it worked.
We would recommend them highly and thank them for their service.

Darren, Lawrence and Tom were very professional. Was skeptical about changing to a renewable energy but Im glad I made the change.Would recommend !!

I am really pleased with my new air source heating pump. It took two days to install and is working well. There were one or two minor problems with connections to my old copper piping system, which were resolved following one or two anguished emails.
I can recommend them for a generally good service.

Since installation - 4th Feb '26 - I have had continuous problems with my Heat Pump - resulting in my living with no hot water and heating (intermittently) since this date. I have paid nearly £9,000 for the Heat Pump - I am 82yrs old and living alone.
Within a week - Programmer not working so system did not function correctly.
Since end March '26 - Heat Pump not working - no heating/hot water. Engineers visited multiple times and have not been able to fix the issues.
I have been extremely patient with Swift Heating Solutions.
I now believe the whole heat Pump machine should have been replaced rather than multiple visits leaving me with no heating and hot water for months...
I know they consistently install at least 4 heat pumps per week in my area, however I seem to be at the end of their jobs list meaning I wait weeks for received parts to be installed.
My patience is running very thin. They have full payment for my Heat Pump. I do not believe they are providing me with an acceptable service and I think everyone should know the problems they may face using Swift Heating Solutions.
I am extremely Disappointed !!!!

Air Source pump installed this week. How professional from start to finish. James is a very knowledgeable individual who gave us complete confidence to swap oil for air source. Lawrence and Danny were a pleasure to have in our home to do the installation. Can't recommend Swift enough.

From the initial meeting with the Sales Lead ((James), through the team in the office and the Tech fitter’s, everyone had an incredible positive work ethic and can do approach.
The team stayed late to ensure each stage was completed (often 8-9pm), and that we were kept fully informed.
The Air Source Heat Pump supplied is warming our house significantly better than our previous system. Brilliant performance throughout

Upgraded to a heat pump as our oil was so expensive. So far so good. Thank you to the team and especially Darren and Harry for being so friendly. They protected our floors without asking and kept everything neat, and made sure we were informed during installation. Georgia in the office was really helpful and answers any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

The heat pump has been brilliant so far. It’s quiet, efficient, and keeps the house at a nice even temperature. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
