Swoop is very knowledgeable about the companies and ships they deal with, mainly because their team of advisors and coordinators have traveled with these very same companies/ships, to experience them firsthand in order to give sound advice. They listened to the type of trip we wanted, and matched us with a great company (Oceanwide) and wonderful ship (Hondius and it's team). We highly recommend them.

SWOOP did an outstanding job with the initial personal zoom! Also the contact/phone call was great because it allowed us to have a dialogue and questions answered about the ins and outs of taking this type of trip. Our affirmative decision to go was based on that. Once we registered, Swoop created an 'Adventure Planner' with plenty of the information of everything that we needed for the this voyage... step by step. (ie. insurance, recommended clothing, details of the ship, IATTO videos explaining protecting Antarctica, etc)
The Swoop staff assigned to us for further information and questions were very prompt in responding. All aspects of the staff were of the highest quality. Including traveling on 'Seaventure' with Polar Latitudes.
The ship, the Captain, the staff, the sea crew were exemplary! A trip without question one of a lifetime.

Very happy with the trip and how swoop organized things. Easy to stay in contact with. The airline lost my luggage’s and delayed my flights to the point I barely made it to town in time to board the ship. Swoop worked with me to get the gear rental company to have everything ready in my room when I arrived at the last minute. Turned a near disaster into an amazing trip.

Swoop's Sales Specialist and Customer Experience Coordinator made it possible for me to plan, book and embark on my trip to Antarctica just 1 month before the expedition start date. I had never heard of Swoop before and was initially unsure if they were a genuine company. Having gone and returned from my Antarctica expedition in December 2024, with a few extra days in Buenos Aires, I can say for certain that Swoop is absolutely genuine and reliable!!

I discovered Swoop while searching for an Antarctica adventure, specifically one that would search for an Emperor penguin colony. My first contact Otto sold me on Swoop's value with his enthusiasm, knowledge and obvious love for the continent. When I decided to include Argentina in the trip, I met two more agents who were equally competent and exuberant.

The itinerary covered 4 1/2 weeks, and the execution was seamless. I never wondered where I needed to be or when. Lunch packs were waiting at the front desk on hiking days, and every local agency used was professional and friendly.

It was a great trip and not one I could have easily put together on my own. Swoop covered the details with a deep knowledge of the area and activities.

They have a comprehensive website with an exhaustive range of options to help you build the trip of a lifetime - and they deliver on that in spades! One way to measure a company is to gauge how they treat you after they have your money - and I have to say that they were literally with us all the way on this trip. They prepare you ahead of time with expert advice and such things as packing lists, "what to expect videos" and suggested reading and watching lists, but the single biggest resource they have are there customer experience specialists who are there to offer expert advice but help answer all of your questions and they truly devote themselves to making sure that your trip is a memory of a lifetime. If you happen to get Ali as your assigned specialist then you have one of the best I've ever dealt with. You can read all the reviews and do your online homework, but you really should just go ahead and book with Swoop - you'll be in great hands.

Our trip to EccoCamp in Patagonia was one that will remain in our memories and our heart forever.

Patagonia is majestic, beautiful and awe inspiring. The mountains, the lakes, the Glaciers and of course most important, the people.

Our guides were very knowledgeable in many areas including Geography, orology, and in my case, particularly in ornithology. I am always very interested and curious in identifying new bird species. Thank you to all my guides for loving birds and animals. I was surprised at how much wildlife we did see in our stay in Patagonia.

We were all very impressed in the organization of our stay at Ecco Camp made special by Swoop. We were pleased with our lodging, facilities, food and beverage and the fact that the camp specialized in being Ecco friendly made it that much more impressive.
