I’ve been really pleased with my TallyMoney account and to be honest, I feel much happier knowing that some of my money is held in gold.
With everything that’s going on in the economy at the moment and the uncertainty about where things are heading, having something backed by gold gives me an extra feeling of security. I like the idea of having an alternative to keeping all my money sitting in a traditional bank account.
The TallyMoney MasterCard makes it so simple to spend from the account so it’s not as though your money is tied up and difficult to get at.
I found TallyMoney easy to use and reassuring and I’m genuinely very happy that I decided to open an account.

Good but when I tried to pay a bill by card I was told that the limit for card payments is £3k. Come in tally it’s 2026 not 1926 get your card limits higher

In an infomercial published on GB NEWS the CEO... that's right, the C.E.O. of tally money states that there is no minimum amount required to open an account. Not only IS there a minimum amount required, but there's a fee of £12! I invested £100 just to test the waters, and so far I have seen a LOSS of around 5% So I tried to close my account... I was sent around in circles with no option of actually closing the account and recovering my funds. HOW IS THIS LEGAL??? Please explain.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. There is no minimum amount required when funding your account via Faster Payments; the £5 minimum applies only when using Open Banking. The £12 account activation fee is clearly shown during sign-up and in our Fees, Charges and Limits.
When GBP is deposited, it is converted into tally based on the gold price, so the value of your balance can rise or fall. If you’re having difficulty closing your account, please email our support team at support@tallymoney.com and we’ll help get this resolved. -Team Tally

My Golden TallyMoney account
I opened my TallyMoney account last August because l suddenly understood the importance of Gold. TallyMoney is the Payments Account of the future, but now. When you deposit your money it’s converted to Gold. In these uncertain times of high national debt, Gold can protect your wealth. My account has already benefited from at least a 25% increase. This of course is not guaranteed, but when in uncertain times Gold tends to increase in value, mainly because Fiat money devalues over time. Gold will keep its value, you can’t print Gold.
TallyMoney is an account backed by Gold. You can spend your Gold via a MasterCard which l think can be used virtually World wide. I love it, l feel happy and fiscally secure.

Everything is so easy with Tally money. Fast set up, open and reasonable fees and excellent easy of use with the app. When I've forgotten my bank debit card I've used the tally card and it feels strangely great to know I've paid a £40 bill in gold 🙂 I recommend TallyMoney to anyone who wants to look after their assets whilst having easy access.

Thanks for confirming these are "normally instant and free" — that's exactly the point. Mine wasn't, on a first-ever transfer, between two accounts you'd already fully verified. No fraud risk, no red flags, just friction and repeated requests for information already on file. Funds are now back and moving to my bank in minutes, now that the hold's been lifted. That gap between "normal" and what actually happened is the whole review.
Got a reply to contact them. I did and the response was failed security so transfer declined. I closed the account and good riddance. Be cautious good advertising first transfer failed that's a warning of what's to come.
Good to know it's "normally" instant — mine wasn't, on a first attempt, between two accounts you'd already verified. No fraud, no risk, just friction. Funds are back and moving to my bank in minutes now that the block's gone. Says more about the process than about me.
★☆☆☆☆ Deposits fine, transfers stuck in limbo
Depositing GBP and having it credited to my tally account worked without issue. The problem started when I tried a simple tally-to-tally transfer to another verified account on the same platform — approved in the app, then put on hold anyway.
What followed was a string of emails asking me to confirm my name and email address, information I'd already given in the same thread, from the same address, signed with my name. No explanation for the hold, no resolution, just repeated requests for details they already had on file.
The app advertises free, instant tally-to-tally transfers. In practice this became a slow, repetitive email exchange over a transfer between two verified accounts. If this is how a routine transfer is handled, think carefully before relying on it for anything you need moved promptly.
