The GP took the time to listen to me and talk to me and it was so nice just to feel heard and have my symptoms taken seriously. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Misleading…Stick with the NHS!
Misleading adverts and unexpected costs.
I came upon this service in a very unwell state, physically and mentally. It appears that your prescription is included....it is not.
I was unable to download the prescription from the 3rd party prescription provider and was shocked to learn I would not be able to afford the prescription as I am normally exempt. I contacted tqpgp to explain the situation and as far as they were concerned I just needed to pay for the prescription and would get treatment. I explained I am too unwell and this is not possible as my money was used for the appointment.
I am unfamiliar with private healthcare and this was shocking to learn that there are hidden extras.
If you're vulnerable or thinking of using this because you cannot get an NHS appointment, DON'T DO IT. It will be more hassle than it is worth and I am not able to get a refund for goods not received
This is a service for the very wealthy not for your average Joe who is looking for help when they feel there's no where else to turn. Stick with the NHS.

Just to clarify for you and for others reading this: the consultation fee does include the GP’s assessment and the issuing of a private prescription, but the cost of the actual medication is set by the pharmacy, not by us, and NHS exemptions unfortunately don’t apply to private prescriptions. We appreciate that this can be unexpected for people who are unfamiliar with private healthcare, especially when feeling unwell.

A vital support in a short term crisis
Easy to connect and thoroughly assessed for my problem by a courteous and pleasant GP who identified the key issues immediately. I was unable to attend any health facility due to just having left hospital following a fractured femur. I was able to to secure a short course of antibiotics for a bad chest to cover a short period when it was impossible to attend my own GP. I was also able to avoid hours of queuing at. A&E and placing myself at further risk of serious infection

Consultation while overseas
Seeing a GP in the UK is different from Australia where you can choose to see any GP you like, and the cost is very reasonable (even free via Bulk Billing for may residents). In the UK you are allocated a GP and have to abide by that allocation. If you don't like the service from that doctor - well, bad luck - apparently.
Anyway, My son suggested tapgp.co.uk.
Excellent experience. We were able to get a prescription filled and I was already improving by the time I had to catch my flight home.

Once registered the booking went…
Once registered the booking went smoothly. Doctor called at time of appointment, he was friendly and competent. I was sent prescription by email and it was easy for chemist to dispense required medication.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use tapGP again.

Thorough consultation
Thorough consultation. Dr was knowledgeable, gave me time to discuss my symptoms and gave a detailed diagnosis of my condition. Medication was prescribed.
