Excellent, friendly delivery team

My item was delivered to a wrong address and I had to play detective to find the missing item. It took 3 days to get TaskRabbit Delivery to even attempt to fix the situation.

We booked this service for two movers because our sofa required the strength of two adult men to move it safely. However, when the movers arrived, one of them was a woman who was having difficulty breathing and was clearly unable to help move the sofa. As a result, we had to rely on another adult man to help move it.
If a service is advertised and booked for two movers, the company should ensure that the assigned team is physically capable of handling the items they are hired to move. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet our expectations.

I will never use this service again. My tasker was supposed to bring my furniture from Ikea into my home. They arrived 5 hours early from my scheduled time while I wasn't home. He called me and told me he had arrived, I explained to him it wasn't my scheduled time yet and he told me he would check the schedule. I never heard back and I got home and found all my boxes on the grass in front of my house. I called him and asked him to come back and complete the task and he yelled at me on the phone, told me to call Ikea and hung up on me. I called him back twice and he then blocked my number. Support was super unhelpful and tried to have me keep the furniture outside overnight because they "couldn't send someone else out" til the next day (it was only 12pm). When I asked for a refund I was given the runaround and only got half my money back after calling numerous times that week. I was only able to get the furniture into my house because thankfully I had movers scheduled for the furniture in my apartment. Overall just a horrible experience and I still want my full refund back but no one will assist me further.

The original task person canceled and they showed up after my time window. They did not speak English and they damaged an interior door in my house. The only reason we were able to get the job done was that I spoke Spanish.

It’s all good, just gotta be careful with corners next time, and would be great if gloves were worn to avoid stains on furniture. Good service overall!
