We had a great experience with Tate's Car Dealership in Pyecombe. Craig was incredibly patient with our numerous questions and took the time to ensure we had all the information we needed. The wider team were also very responsive and able to come back to us promptly with answers and updates, which made the whole process much less daunting than it might otherwise have been.

What particularly stood out was how well they understood our perspective and what was important to us. We didn't feel pressured and felt listened to throughout the process. It was a pleasure to work with Craig and the team, and we really appreciated all of their help and support. Thank you!

Excellent experience. We travelled from Eastbourne as the customer service Connor gave over the phone was so much better than our local garage and we are so glad we did.
He went out of his way to find the right car for my son Alfie and informed us of accurate stock levels and delivery times. He kept us notified throughout and even went the extra mile sorting out the private number plates for us so that the car was perfect when we collected it. He gave us a thorough explanation of everything the car has/can do and made sure my son was completely happy and confident to drive home.

Awful experience. We bought a Peugeot 3008 a month ago and it spent 2 weeks out of that month in the service dept. Drive shaft, apparently. No-one told us what was happening at all. No-one returned our calls. Eventually we used our 'Right to Reject' and gave the car back, got our money back and vowed never to return.

Over the years I have purchased 4 KiA's from Tates Pyecombe. On this occasion I was served by Craig and from start to finish the process went very smoothly. I purchased a Sportage and am very grateful to Craig for his expertise and knowledge.

I would certainly recommend this garage and if you can try and get Conor to deal with your enquiries. He has been at the garage for about ten years which speaks volumes.

Wouldnt buy anything from this Garage. Totally ignored. Took a lot to get there and walked around the showroom past 3 salesmen and looked at various cars. After 10 minutes and not even one hello. No smile. No "how can i help you". Nothing!

I then asked one of them if they sell cars. He said "of course". He was the Sales Controller. He said he hadnt't seen me.. then backtracking said "I thought you were here for the Service Department" ... so he had seen me!!!

People buy from people. Being made to feel ignored and not seen and ignored made me walk out. The cheek of it, the Sales Controller came and stood in front of my car and asked if they could do anything. If im spending up to 30K and blocked my exit. Asked if he could sort something.

I would much rather go to somewhere welcoming and valued as a customer... and he was meant to be a Sales Controller. I would be putting them on a performance plan. Shocking.. then i read other reviews about their customer service and wish i hadn't bothered getting all the way out to Pycombe

When we went to the garage I was sceptical about electric vehicles, the logistics of long journeys and that having been a driver for 40 odd years I had never used an automatic vehicle.
After a long and straightforward conversation our questions were answered and we felt confident to take a test drive and ultimately purchase a Peugeot Rifter

when we arrived at the dealership we were met by Sol who was very pleasant and showed us round the car we were interested in, he took us for a test drive and left us to go over the car. We were very happy with the car and he wasn't pushy at all so we went ahead with the purchase.

The service and guidance I received whilst purchasing my new car was excellent. The sales executive (Sol) was very attentive and knowledgeable whilst purchasing my new car. His service didn't stop there, he even contacted me a few days after I had collected my car to see if I had any questions or needed any additional support.

Sol, the salesperson whose excellent communication guided me through the trade in of my old car and the purchase of my new car was very helpful and accommodating of my needs. I’m very happy with the service I received from him.

i tried to talk to a service person regarding a possible issue with my speed limit detector on my Vauxhall Corsa, i was transferred to a salesperson who within a minute of me trying to discuss the problem disconnected me. sounds like he'd rather be selling cars and getting a commission than helping people
