If like me you are wanting to learn how to tattoo later in life, and cant do a traditional unpaid apprenticeship...this is a great option. I joined couple months ago and the course literally has everything you need. You just need hard work, practice and determination.

Best thing I could do to learn the basics, I only sign for the artist accelerator program and I can't be more happy with the formation. Regards

Tattooing 101 is a great resource for anyone who's trying to level up their skills and prepare for the tattooing world! They have a lot of material from the set up and breakdown to the practice and how to go about thinking about designs. There's a structured process that they have that makes it easy to follow and build on. As long as you put in the work, this is a great resource to have to help you along the way and the community is amazing for feedback and encouragement. There are lots of things that helped that were design specific and I found that going through the course also helped me build up my confidence with drawing and start a more professional looking portfolio. Everything thats included in the video includes super helpful information not just a how to on a specific design or style so you end up with lots of helpful tips and reminders for tattooing. I'm loving the course and still slowly working my way through everything. So far it's been great and super easy to follow along with and make progress that I can see, as well as learn where I can improve.

I came to this training with experience in other areas of tattooing, I.e., cosmetic tattooing, and learned things I was never taught! I’m one month in and tattooing real skin with success! I cannot say enough positive things about the leaders within this training. So worth the time and money!

My experience with this company has been outstanding! I first joined the artist accelerator program. Unlike other tattoo "academies" or whatever you want to call them they don't sugar coat things nor say you are going to be able to tattoo like a pro after 2 days or even 2 weeks. The entire program is meant to take 90 days and teach you drawing, shop hygiene, and everything you'd get in an apprenticeship without having to drop tons of money or deal with potential abuse. The additional courses they have are also amazing - ranging from marketing, particular styles, and running a shop. 10/10 would make the same decision.

They dont care about you progressing as an artist. Even after talking personally with them on video chat it was made clear that my state doesn't take online courses as apprenticeship hrs worked to get certified.... yet still tried to convince me to buy the course knowing its useless to me.....this is just a Money making scheme for them. Go get a real apprenticeship. Scam!!!!!

The coaches are really easy to talk to. They give you a clear understanding of what’s going on and what’s going to happen.

I had a great interaction with Nathan. I feel more confident after a Zoom Meeting. I cant wait to get started with this new journey!

The team at Tattooing 101 is not only incredibly kind but also genuinely helpful. Having a 1 on 1 conversation with one of the founders of Tattooing101 was exactly what I needed. I am midway through completing the Artist Accelerator Program (through tattooing101.com), and all the resources are invaluable for anyone wanting to learn or improve their tattooing skills. Checking in with an actual human in real time is perfect for maintaining accountability, and refocusing on specific areas (for me it was style specialisation and social media overhaul) that need more attention. Super grateful to Nathan for this opportunity!

Tattooing 101 has been a life changer. At any level of commitment, there is a wealth of information Tattooing 101 is putting out, from free YouTube videos, the Artist Accelerator Program, which is essentially everything you need to know to be a successful tattoo artist, including shop procedures, Safety and Sanitization, creating your own flash, to actually tattooing, from start to finish on fake and real skin. I started with linework secrets book, which helped me immediately improve, then committed to the Artist Accelerator program, which includes video modules, live call and critiques, art nights, and access to a vast community that will help you no matter what level you are at. And the people at Tattoing 101 are great, they are real artists and people that are passionate about teaching others. I am currently producing tattoos that keep me in demand in my network of friends and clients, and am working on getting my own Appointment only shop going, a dream that could never have been approached without Tattooing 101. I am 47 with a family, and didn’t have time for a traditional apprenticeship, which too often is a dead end, anyways. With this program and community, I am actually accomplishing the steps I need to take to get my dream going, and I can’t thank them enough. They have even featured my artwork on promotional materials, and reached out to me, personally, when I was dealing with some health issues, just to see how i was doing. Tattooing 101 gave me a well structured, solid foundation to get me started in my tattoing journey. With their help I was able to quit my job and chase the dream. It was not easy but it was worth it.

I’ve been using Tattooing 101 since 2023, and it’s been such a game-changer. I ran across Tattooing 101 by accident and I am so happy I did! I am the breadwinner in my family and I just couldn’t afford to drop my job and do a traditional apprenticeship so I decided to look into online learning. I ran into a few that were just beyond my budget and didn’t look like I would learn much. Then accidentally I ran into tattooing 101 . When I first saw the website I thought it was a scam, but it wasn’t . It was def within my budget and looked like I could learn in an effective timeframe if I dedicated some of my time. In about 2 months I learned enough to get me into a local shop in my area. Long story short, I kept learning and practicing from the Artist Accelerator program, got my certificate. Left the shop because I ended up getting pregnant with twins. And during my maternity leave I signed up for Tattooing 101 private coaching. I loved the Artist Accelerator program and learned everything from sterilization to making your own inks. They really covered so much ground but I wanted to excel and refine my technical skills a bit more. Absolutely loved the coaching, these mentors really care about you and your success and progress. You automatically get invited to their online student social media group which will help you get feedback and keep you accountable and is really a safe space to voice questions and concerns. In coaching you get one on one time with the mentors and even learn helpful marketing tips for your business. All in all solid decision, my twins are 1 now and I attended my first convention and won competing for the first time in the black and grey category. If you’re serious about tattooing and it becoming a profession then tattooing 101 is for you.

The tattoo 101 experience is definitely that, an experience! They break down and go through the basics of everything necessary to know when your beginning your tattoo learning journey! Ive had such an amazing time learning with my peers and my coaches/ mentors are so amazing! I always feel like i can reach out and let them know what's up and can get really great feed back on the matter and am able to overcome anything that had me stuck before. I definitely recommend Tattoo 101 for anyone who has the Dream of becoming an amazing tattoo artist. Thankyou Tattoo 101 ❤️
