I was sold a health plan through NEO Insurance Solutions that was pitched as comprehensive, ACA-compliant insurance. I was told I’d have access to doctors through the First Health network, plus coverage for prescriptions and standard care. That turned out to be completely false.

Once enrolled, I couldn’t find a single doctor or pharmacy who recognized the plan. Every provider I contacted either said the plan wasn’t accepted or had no idea what it was. I never received full plan documents or a usable insurance ID. Attempts to get help from Detego Health (the plan administrator) went nowhere — long hold times, disconnected calls, and empty promises to call back.

Meanwhile, NEO kept billing me. When I tried to cancel, they stalled and gave me the runaround. I’ve since discovered dozens of similar complaints from other people misled into buying what amounts to a discount card or fixed-indemnity plan with zero real protection. This is not health insurance. It's a money trap.

Save yourself the stress, lost time, and wasted money. This company uses deceptive marketing and evasive support tactics. I’ve filed complaints with the BBB and state insurance regulators. If you’re looking for real insurance, look elsewhere.

Is this TDK Insurance Company new?? I ask because as I look at reviews there are nothing but 5stars in 2023, and only terrible reviews more recently. From my recent experience with this insurance I would have to say the older reviews are staged and more recent ones are very very accurate! This TDK Ins should be put out of business. They absolutely suck!!!
My experience was nothing short of frustration, deception, and a loss of faith in our government to allow this to happen. I felt like I was a victim on the movie Erin Brockovich because I was told 10 different reasons my claims were rejected. They are told to deny deny deny. Christ the pathetic company can’t even put the accurate group # on the insurance card!!!!!

My husband and I needed Insurance for one month. I was very clear and specific with the representative that we spoke with. I let her know that I was mostly concerned with My neurologist appointment coming up and my daughter’s therapy coming up. She said,”no problem” you will have coverage. Only thing is; all claims are denied in the 1st 30 days. You will just need to let your physician know or have them resend the claim. We went over this 2 to 3 time’s because that was the whole reason for the insurance. We discussed me canceling the policy before Jan1 in order to NOT be billed for that month. She suggested that I call a few days before to cancel my insurance. I called Dec. 27th spoke with Matt R. he misunderstood and didn’t cancel the insurance. I was billed for the month of Jan. I had to call a few times to get that taken off because the phone numbers on the card were incorrect and I kept getting redirected. After, two days I was able to get it my refund per their mistake in billing.
I waited my 30 plus days. I received messages from the therapist stating her claims were denied. I contacted billing for my neurologist and they were denied also. Yet, when calling TDK they said they had not received any claims. I had to be very persistent for them to look further into my account. I spoke with 5 representatives to get the answer.
I was told “ I had no coverage for those services for the first 30 days but I still used my plan because I could have used emergency services “
I have been asking for a full refund due to improper explanation of benefits. Fraudulent! I was rushed through the signing of the documents. I have also been calling customer service and multiple numbers for this company but have been working on this off and on since Jan 9 , 2025 when my daughter’s therapist let me know she wasn’t getting paid.
The supervisor Andrea stated that she had not listened to the call between myself and the sales rep. Yet, refused to provide customer Service.
At one point I was told that the sales reps weren’t trained properly and I should get a refund for that mistake to call customer Service.
I have explained all of this to Andrea the Supervisor, and yet no apology, no, “that should not have happened to you!” and hung up on me as I said,”thank you for your time!” I do not recommend this service to anyone not even my worst enemy.

can I give them zero stars? Didn't even know how to interpret their own policy, constant lying, constant blame shifting, insulting reps. Don't use them unless you like being abused.

This company deserves zero stars. Worst customer service ever, too few providers that take it (that should tell you something right there) and is way overpriced for how little one gets in return. Do NOT use this company for health insurance.

I'm not sure what kind of insurance company this is but I am paying almost 400.00 for a policy the silver plan and they do not pay for blood and you can only go to the doctor once a quarter and you are stressed waiting on bills and I don't need this...I would not recommend this company to anyone at all. A waste of my money because when I want to go to the doctor I should be able to go and not have to worry about bills being that this country is credit driven and when I say credit driven... I am referring to my credit score. People don't know what they are getting themselves into when trying to get insurance away from work.

Signing up was easy and it is a trustworthy company

as a new customer of TDK I'm completely satisfied with everything. This is the 3rd time I'm completing this survey. Every time I tried to send it, it disappeared. This phone is crazy. Anyway, I spoke with Matt Ruona regarding a policy. He was knowledgeable, personable and had a great sense of humor. He answered all my questions, including the ones I never thought of! I just increased the amount of coverage and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again for any future needs or recommend them to friends

I called in about getting a life insurance policy for myself and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. The agent gave me a few options and I chose a policy and was signed up within an hour. Great experience
