The so called Manager in…

The so called Manager in Tesco,Edenderry Co.Offaly is the most rude and obnoxious person to deal with,all he kept saying to me when I went back with an issue was... well what do you want me to do about it...this is the so called management he has no management or customer service skills at all...and then when he was finished dealing with the issue all he cud say was ta ra now....like no one in a management position should said this to anyone he was just the rudest person to deal with....Tesco edenderry you need to sort out your staff

Allow people to pay for goods with CASH! Tesco Roselawn are always having some issue with cash as the three paltry cash desks are never working at the same time. It's obviously too much trouble to deal with cash for the company so the customer doesn't matter

sliced red onion / mushrooms : awful.

Tesco sliced red onions and tesco sliced mushrooms, both frozen. Appear to be around 20%water. Awful to cook with, impossible to fry. Use the real thing instead.
Come on tesco, don't disgrace yourself with these two substandard products.

I use to give Tesco the benefit of the doubt but what a rip off over the last couple of weeks there’s been another hike in the prices there like the Irish government no better than common criminals except they do it with a tie a smile nod and wink just like the government very little helps they say ya paying back there tax bill in the uk

Chicken breast pumped with water

Used to buy chicken breasts from Tesco cause they were always better quality than Lidl but as of late I've noticed they are pumping the breast with water because there's no possible way a breast of chicken has that amount of juices... Dunnes and SuperValu are the better choice for chicken.... Ridiculous comment to have to make but not sure where else to post this...

Bait and switch trickery
Tesco Bailieborough Cavan, had Illy coffee marked on sale for one month reduced from E9 to E6, I bought one can returned to buy another, but none on the shelf, well actually, none on the shelf for the whole month of the fake sale, and then the exact day the sale was over illy coffee galore. Complained to manager/online a waste of time, in the US I would have received a raincheck price reciept

Shocking customer care

I have left review regarding home delivery that obviously was removed. First of all products delivered always close to go off and be binned, quality is 0! But last delivery driver was rude and ignorant, at least 4 items was missing from purchase. Customer care send me obsalutely rediculous email on respond of a previous review stating that im not an account holder, wich is obvious not wanting taking responsibility for missing items and rude staff there's no other explanation as I am the account holder.

Monday tea time

Monday tea time. Service appalling 10 trolleys waiting only 1 cashout open.
2 Elderly shoppers stood in a queue for 20 minutes both suffering with hip and leg pain. Went to customer service they were unable to help. Poor poor service

Absolutely disgusting service after…

Absolutely disgusting service after shopping with this store almost 30 years!
I’m registered disabled and rely on home shopping. I ordered the vacuum cleaner from Tesco’s three weeks ago., which was delivered along with my groceries. Yesterday the vacuum cleaner just died on me. Now I live in Tralee where there are two Tesco stores, but the home shopping comes from Killarney which is a 40 minute drive away. Due to the strong medication I take I’m not able to drive.. I called Tesco’s yesterday as I was having a home delivery anyway in the afternoon, honestly expecting them to say that the driver would pick up the faulty vacuum cleaner and I could go ahead and order a new one when I get a refund… I was very shocked to be told that it’s too big to fit in the truck(even though it was delivered that way initially)) and that I couldn’t even bring it to the Tescos in my town, they want me to take it to Tesco in Killarney, so either I have to drag a heavy vacuum onto a bus(that’s not including the Taxi I would have to get up and down to the Bus Station and then when I get to Killarney from the Bus Station up to the retail park) or I could get a taxi either way which is €50 each way… just to return a faulty product that they sold me. Even Tesco’s own website state this and I quote.” You can return your faulty product to any Tesco Extra or Tesco Superstore, preferably the one you bought it from. We recycle faulty products according to the Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). Unfortunately, our Tesco Express stores can't accept returns for faulty products” ANY store, they insist I take it to the Killarney store despite knowing the circumstances and that I do not drive (it’s just myself and my daughter and she hasn’t passed her test yet).
I called the consumer protection commission, CCPC who said that by law Tesco are responsible for the return of any faulty product, any cost is down to them. I have showed Tesco screenshots of this, they do not want to know. CCPC have told me that they will help me proceeded with a small claims case against Tesco, I don’t want to I really do not need the stress but at the same time why should I be down €75 because they sold me a faulty product? Again their own website states that I should be able to take it back to any store that’s not a Tesco express. But I shouldn’t even have to do that because.CCPC clearly state that the trader has to bear the cost of returning the faulty product.
CCPC also told me that.what is stated on their website supersedes any store policy, they’re a governing body, for some reason, Tesco seem to think they’re above this.

I will never again shop with Tescos, I am actually shocked at how appalling their Customer Service has become. I will be taking this as far as I can.

Omg Baileborogh Tesco
Helped A Tesco customer who was disabled
Using a crutch in his right hand and a paralysed left hand unsteady on his feet.
Asked Could I help him he said yes please that would be great.
So to cut a long story short done his shopping for the gentleman went through the check out took his shopping to his vehicle in the disabled parking and put it in his car.
On returning the basket I used to help the disabled customer I was verbally abused by a member of staff for using the basket to transport his groceries to his car.
I replied I have just helped a disabled customer to do his shopping and you have treated me like I stole something on front of all the customers.
At that point I said you watched me help that disabled customer something you should have done.
After I left I was so annoyed and angry I reported it to there head office.
There response they could care less and sent an email to me with the options to not avail of there offers.
So yes I cancelled everything with them.

Customer is all ways right not with the management in Tesco

Security guard

I am a regular customer and happened to buy a large beach towel as well as a few grocery items

After using the self service checkout, a security guard stopped me and removed the beach towel from my bag and searched it

I was bemused at the time, but on reflection, as the store was busy I feel embarrassed, and, feel that this employee would benefit from proper training

Soft plastics

For several years, I have been happily recycling my soft and hard plastics at my local store. To my surprise, I discovered today that the recycling section at the Arklow store has been removed—without any prior notice or explanation. When I inquired at the customer service desk, I was told it was removed because people had been disposing of household waste in the bin.
I find this disappointing, especially since I’ve often observed staff replacing the bags, and the volume of soft plastics being recycled was remarkable. Given the growing issue of plastic waste, shouldn’t the responsibility for recycling soft and hard plastics lie with these stores?
Has anyone else noticed the removal of this service at their local store?

Tesco Mahon point

Tesco Mahon point, on multiple occasions the price labels are either incorrect or not scanning properly at the till. Employees would benefit from proper traning.

Tesco rush

Tesco rush has the most rude, nasty manager (blonde woman) & customer service desk worker I’ve ever encountered. Absolute despicable attitude from both of them, wouldn’t receive that from any other store. Shocking behaviour will never be back.

Lovely new girl in Tesco Express…

Lovely new girl in Tesco Express Shankill. Pity about the men working there. I'm local and have been going there for years but they never make eye contact or ever say 'Hi'. These things are important. Time for more staff changes, i think.
