Good service. But the price is not really good. Compare to dunnes store or lidl, too less offer to customers.

Bought 3 boxes of beef stakes today, with expiry date in 4 days. When I opened the box at home they were blue underneath!

Popped in for a few items. Used the self-checkout and again was confused as to which side of the till to use.
The attendant came and sorted me out. Nice young man.
All done. In and out in no time!

TESCO!!!...The prices on sweet are increasing exponentially. Cookies with only two ingredients sold as if they were baked by Gordon Ramsey personally. Shame on you. The HSE will be on strike soon cause all tipes of diabetes are disappearing from Ireland. Sounds funny? To me is just disgraceful. Blame yourself and your greed.

My complaint is about tesco in ballybrack ,the shop was renovated a few months back ,the aisles are smaller too cramped your on top of each other, the shop has gone very scruffy looking of lately the baskets are filthy ,there's 2 display fridges with meat as you walk in one of them has the grid hanging off for a few weeks now that's the first thing you see when you walk in ,not a good start .There is a display for artisan bread which doesn't have any cover on it and there's no wrapper on the bread last time I was in there it had blue bottles all over it ,disgusting and unhygienic ,there's never enough tills open either ,the self service tills are a joke too many card only and your lucky if 3 tills are open akways a few nit working
, they really need to up their game

Prices increase every week dont seem to be selling own brand product's anymore

I find the standard of the shop an absolute disgrace. As a long time customer I can see total lack of interest towards the customer. Members of staff permanently on their phones I was just about to talk to the manager when I saw he was equally guilty so there was no point.
Last week I did the self scan to find out the machines were causing grief all that day and had to have the shopping manually scanned again. I do not have time for this nonsense. I again scanned my shop today to be told I had to have a full scan done again. This is totally unacceptable and I will not be shopping in nutgrove again even though it's my nearest store.
The staff go around chewing gum while working which I find totally unprofessional.
While I was waiting for my shop to be scanned a lady cam up and ask to speak to a manager they did call for one but no manager arrived. She asked if one was coming and the reply she was given was I don't know she asked again and was told no.
As you can see it's not a user friendly store.

Need it to pick up delivery from one of the stores near Tesco so I went to buy few thinks .
Ended up with full blue basket of groceries.
Had my hands full as I was also carrying parcel that I just picked up.
There was 2 people around the checkout one around self-service checkouts and another member just standing around first checkout.
So I asked her politely if she can serve me .
Was told off to use self-service .I asked her again .Was still told to use self-service.
I don't mind using self-service when I have few items .But 21 items ?
Seriously? Wow..
What happened to simple customer service where customer is struggling and simply ask for to be served at the checkout.
I'm not sure if I'm more disappointed or sad the way thinks are being done now.

On the 10th of May, 2024 I shopped in TESCO Gorey. I'm not a regular customer there but every now and then I shop there. Last time, I spent €48 on toiletries a lot of small things. I politely asked for a small sandwich bag to carry them. I was coldly answered like this: "we only give you bag when buying clothes!" OK, I accept it.
Today, I dared to buy a jumper and toiletries, and again, I asked for a bag.
Do you want the hanger? -this absolutely fine mannered question found me, and I answered: Yes, please.
The cassier left the till without saying a word, ( customers behind me started to ask me where she went) and about 2-3 minutes she came back and gave me for my €36 spending the smallest (sandwich) bag she could ever discover in the store, and then she stuffed my jumper and everything else into it. I said, "in this case I am not taking the hanger!" Why not? she asked, and I answered: " I hope you don't think that I am going to walk out of the store carrying a hanger in my hands!
Dear TESCO, I am a cassier in one of your store, but I never let any of your customers walk out with hangers in their hands, or left them standing and waiting without a word. Seems like either your policy or your staff in that store needs to be modified (changed). Customers shouldn't be "punished" with this kind of manners or service. Those who don't like working with people shouldn't be placed at the checkouts.

Tesco store in Kinnegad has the distinction of having the rudest, most unhelpful group of women in Ireland on its staff. I always leave the store with a cold feeling as the staff are so rude and unwelcoming. Their disdain for customers is palpable. If I ever make any request of any of them, they stare at me coldly for several seconds before very slowly and reluctantly answering. This evening I had the temerity to ask a lady employee to pass me a bag at the self service checkout. She gave me the stare treatment, then very slowly complied. Another female employee then remarked "Don't you just love it when people who come in here all the time still need help?" This was completely uncalled for. I have never been rude or unpleasant to this woman in my life. If she helped customers a bit more it might improve her temper and her overall demeanour which is sadly lacking at the moment.

One of the most recist shop I have been in Soo far. I was on a trip in Galway and went to a store of yours
(Tesco Superstore, Knocknacarra Shopping Centre, Shangort, Galway) I was great so badly my a colleague of this shop called Ragemon I Believe. He called security on us for no reason at all. Ruining everyone vibe. When we were just in to few non alcoholic drinks and grocery. Witch we where denied because we had an Indian passport. So disappointing in the Irish hospitality

Really poor service got multiple items going off within 3 days of delivery including sausages. Home delivery seems to be an oppertunity to get rid of the food due to expire. Customer care didnt care! Basically told me go to store to get them exchanged/refunded (defeats the purpose of home delivery) Poor service from tesco

Hire the most incompetent people for the job my card declines and I ask if I can try on a different checkout as the card reader might be broken they tell me no that I don't have balance on my card I walked back to gather my items went to a different one and it worked dumb employees trying to spend 5 seconds communicating with shoppers and are always blocking the way around the shop talking with each other

Today Tesco called the police, they were watching people come in on weststreet, it's ridiculous as west street are slanderous in the shop then they have the audacity to call police as police are racists just like people from drogheda racist and they discriminate gossip bout others, time tescos to do the job you were paid to do be doing' be quiet.' The police officer was a lady 5'4 perhaps blonde hair with either sallow skin from tan beds or fake tan with a little red lipstick on, stop the racism and predjudice in drogheda please by tescos and police don't let common people in starting abuse on other customers, staff do your job and help other customers ok stop calling racist police who should be catching paeodophiles and rapists instead of innocent people. I'm just disgusted at this horrible treatment by these drogheda shops and people it's very disheartening and shameful behaviour. Shame on all of you it's time you treat mixed cultures that live in drogheda much better.

Fr Griffin Rd tesco...arent they supposed to always have 1 cashier open in addition to the self checkout? I go in there once a week and spend at least €60 and every single time I get attitude for asking for an employee to ring me up at a regular til. I know how to do self checkout but dont do it because I dont work there and like to try to help a human cashier keep their job.

Price gouging. Greedflation.

False advertising. Price in online app was much lower than when we scan the product in Wexford shop. We were told they can not do anything about it, so we bought 10 × product online for click and collect next day. Surprise, surprise - we were called an hour before the collection that the product is out of stock!!! Lies! Still on the shelf with different price. Ridiculous customer service, we even weren't allowed to talk with manager.They didn't try to solve the issue. Shame. Will report to CCPC.
