Attended one of the community events hosted by The Cook, and the food was excellent. The paneer curry was rich and full of authentic homemade flavour, and the gulab jamun was soft, perfectly sweet, and just like home. Hemraj clearly puts real care into the cooking. Highly recommend for anyone in Slough looking for great Indian food or catering!

I attended a community event with well over 100 people where The Cook team provided the catering, and they did an outstanding job. The food was fresh, delicious, and catered to a wide range of tastes. Everything was well presented, and there was plenty of food for everyone. Especially, loved their soft Roti's.

The catering team was organised, friendly throughout the event. Service was smooth, everything was kept well stocked, and they helped make the event run seamlessly.

It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into both the food and the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for large community events or any special occasion. Excellent catering and a fantastic experience all around!

Ordered chapatis for an event and following great responses we have now become regular (weekly) subscribers of chapatis. They taste the same as fresh home made soft chapatis and the freshness lasts longer. Highly recommend their chapatis for quality and service.

We have had Chapatis ordered in bulk from The Cook on few occasions and were never disappointed. Very fresh, thin and home made folks style chapatis were appreciated by all the guests. Especially the packaging was done with lot of care to ensure freshness is maintained for few hours. We even frozen few left overs and had them after few days. And after warming them the tasted nearly fresh. I haven’t had a chance to try other dishes yet, but certainly looking forward to try them soon. I’d highly recommend The Cook to anyone who wants homemade chapatis without the hassle of making them yourself 😀

I recently tried The Cook’s Indian food service and I’m genuinely impressed! Everything is made fresh with love and care, and it truly shows in the taste.
The food is beautifully authentic. I tried their soft, fluffy chapatis, rich and creamy Paneer Muttor Malai, flavorful Veg Biryani, perfectly spiced Baingan Bharwa, and the delicious Gatte ki Sabji — every dish was a hit. For sweets, the creamy Shrikhand, aromatic Gajar ka Halwa, and soft Kala Jamun were all excellent.
If you’re craving proper homemade-style Indian food with authentic flavors, I highly recommend The Cook. Will definitely be ordering again!

"We had the most delightful experience this past weekend enjoying the cook's saag and makki di roti. It was absolutely five-star worthy! The flavours were rich, the saag was perfectly seasoned, and the makki di roti had just the right texture. Highly recommend for an authentic and delicious meal!"

We tried chapattis from The Cook and the chapattis were too soft, amazingly fresh -served Hot 🔥
We also ended up having few leftover chapattis for morning breakfast and it was super soft even then!!
