Great experience

Our daughter started with Theatre Train St Albans in January, and absolutely loves the sessions. She adores her teachers, and her confidence has notably increased in just a few short months!
We highly recommend this particular unit if you are local to the St Albans area!

Theatre train has been amazing for my daughter, it has brought her confidence out no end. She loves all the teachers there especially Kate, Sheila, Olivia and Chloe. Kate and Shelia always welcome her with a smile and ask how she is.

Our daughter absolutely loves her Saturdays at Theatre Train Maldon. Those three hours each week have become the highlight of her routine. She has discovered a real passion for theatre, dance, and singing, and the boost to her confidence has been wonderful to see. Mark and the entire team are truly amazing — caring, professional, and endlessly inspiring. They create such a supportive atmosphere where children feel safe to express themselves, grow in skill, and shine on stage. We couldn’t recommend Theatre Train Maldon more highly.

Very supportive and caring about the pupils especially Jo she is an angel and it’s a lovely place for the children to learn and make friends all the teachers are fabulous my kids really like Callum.

My daughters confidence has grown since starting late 2025. she likes showing me what she can do. She sings made up songs & parts of songs she has memorised, dances her own way to songs (its not just jumping on spot or spinning in circles anymore). Liv & Lauren are absolutely lovely.

My daughters confidence has grown hugely since attending TT IW. The teachers are encouraging and keep her engaged and motivated. The shows have been varied and she has enjoyed the process.

Theatretrain Isle of Wight is a positive, nurturing and kind environment. We have noticed a massive difference in our child since they started there.Our child loves the teachers and the opportunities that are offered, they are always ready for their Saturday morning class.
If you are in doubt whether to give it a try, the answer is do it!

Theatretrain Isle of Wight is amazing. Both my daughters started when they were 4 years old and I can say that it has boosted their confidence, enhanced their social skills, and deepened their love of musical theatre. Me and my friend took part in the West End Tenors performance, the experience was very enjoyable both on stage and backstage. There’s been so many amazing memories made from this, we got to know each other better and made so many new friends or talked to people we wouldn’t talk too usually. For our family, Theatretrain IOW has never been just about Saturday morning classes, or the inevitable moment when every coat hanger in the wardrobe seems to have your child’s name and role written on it. It’s about so much more.

It’s about children finding their people, building real friendships with others who share their creativity and energy. It’s about watching confidence grow week by week, seeing new skills develop, and noticing self-esteem flourish in ways that spill over into everyday life.

This professional and nurturing platform has given my girls the ability to speak confidently, read fluently and express themselves openly. They’ve learned to think independently and carry themselves with assurance, both on and off the stage. Through Theatretrain, they can sing, dance and act but they can also dress up, be silly, cry, laugh and fully embrace who they are, all without judgement.

The opportunities offered are truly exceptional. From high-quality productions to unforgettable experiences like the recent trip to New York, including dance classes at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center, the exposure and inspiration these young performers receive is incredible.

We have been part of Theatretrain IOW for over 13 years, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent or child considering it. It’s not just a performing arts school, it’s a community, a confidence builder, and a place where children are empowered to shine.

My two nieces recently joined Theatretrain, and the transformation in them has been incredible to watch. From the very first few weeks, we noticed a real boost in their confidence. They’re both more expressive, more self-assured, and so much more comfortable speaking up and performing in front of others.

One of the most wonderful things has been the friendships they’ve built. They’ve found a whole new circle of friends who share their enthusiasm and creativity, and it’s clear they feel a strong sense of belonging. They talk about their new friends constantly and love practising together outside of sessions.

Saturdays have quickly become their favourite day of the week. They literally count down the days until their next session and can hardly contain their excitement when the weekend arrives. After each class, they come out with beaming smiles, absolutely buzzing with energy, eager to tell us everything they’ve learned and show off new skills.

It’s been such a joy to see them grow not only as performers but as confident, happy young people. I couldn’t recommend Theatretain more highly to any parent looking to nurture their child’s creativity, confidence, and social skills.

All the teachers are wonderful and friendly and you’re always met with a welcoming smile.

It’s such great value for money and selfishly now gives me 3 hours of ME time each week too.

My daughter has attended Theatretrain Bexley since the age of 3 with the Minis, she’s now 7.
She absolutely loves it! She’s made some amazing friends, the teachers are so warming towards each student and you can see just how proud they are of them - like they are their own children. My daughter enjoys performing from the small yearly showcases to the big shows such as The Royal Albert Hall. I can’t wait to see where this will take her

Such a great outlet for children. Amazing training, coaching, encouragement and opportunities for children with a passion for the performing arts. Plenty of 1:1 time. Great music and choreography and lovely teachers.

My daughter absolutely loves her Theatre Train classes. From the very first session, she felt welcomed, encouraged, and confident. Mark and the team are incredibly supportive and clearly passionate about helping the children grow — not just as performers, but as people.
I’ve seen such a boost in her confidence, creativity, and communication skills, and she always comes home smiling and excited to tell me what she’s learned. I couldn’t recommend Theatre Train highly enough for any child who loves performing or just needs a safe, fun space to shine.

Our daughter has been attending Theatretrain Minis for just over a year now and she absolutely loves it! She looks forward to her class every single week and always comes out bursting with excitement – so bubbly, happy, and chatty. Mark and Laura are incredibly warm and welcoming, and Rosie completely adores Nina and Chloe who teach her class. The whole team are so passionate and caring, and it really shows in everything they do. Rosie has the most amazing time every week – we honestly couldn’t recommend Theatretrain enough!

My son has been attending TheatreTrain for about two years now, being high functioning autistic can prove to be a little challenging some days, but the level of care and patience they have with him is amazing and I’m so grateful he always comes out smiling!! building confidence and making new friends along the way. The summer camps are great fun too and very good value for money.
