I purchased a Mercedes GLC in February this year. On reaching the motorway the tyre pressure light came on so I stopped and added some air. This continued the following few weeks as well as a high pitched screech coming from the back. I took the car to be looked over at a local garage who informed me both rear tyres were on the minimum 1.6mm and needed replacing the rear brake pads and discs had been incorrectly fitted and needed to be removed and fitted correctly. Alongside this both front brake pads and discs also needed replacing. Bearing in mind the car had a brand new MOT with no advisories. I contacted the warranty company who said it’s not covered. I then contacted the company by phone and email with no response or call back. I also hadn’t received the logbook this is now 8 weeks in. The guy apologised and said someone would be in touch. Numerous calls and emails later 12 weeks I eventually had the customer services team call me back that consists of one person who had been on annual leave for 12 weeks. The repair bill was £1300 all of which I have had to pay as the vehicle wasn’t roadworthy. I was told I should have spoken to the company first but no one responded and the after sales guy was away for 12 weeks. Avoid at all costs they are so helpful when the sale is taking place but the after sales are non existent. I would not recommend to anyone. I have still not had a resolve.
