Watch out for The CorkBox Company not disclosing import-duty fees on your invoice and then the customer getting hit with a customs duty and disbursement fee because its shipped from Poland. I live in the US. This is terribly deceitful and even though they have a nice product I would never do business again with a company like this.

I see a few negative reviews but I had a genuinely good experience with this company! Customer service were very helpful and communicative through the design process (especially when there was an error with my file) and I get so many compliments on my corkbox

It sais free shipping but today i recived an invoice from ups 551 NOK ( 43.69 pound)

I was thinking of ordering more but now i wont.To expencive!

After ordering a box from this company somewhere between me filling the online ordering it defaulted to a incorrect address with the same house name and number but in a completely different village so it never arrived with me
I informed the company immediately I got the note to say it been delivered but not to me , to get the response it wasn’t there fault
You can’t speak to a person and responses are really unsatisfactory
So the outcome is that I have paid for a item that I will never be able to use
So as to the quality who knows ,not a good company to order from ,who doesn’t deserve people to buy from them

bestelling online gedaan en later in de week een bericht gekregen dat het pakket per Fedex geleverd zou worden. Fedex heeft het pakket voor de deur gezet aan een openbare straat. Pakket is meegenomen door iemand anders en the corkbox zegt gewoon pakket is bezorgd jammer voor jou. Fedex heeft toegegeven dat het niet goed is gegaan maar nog steeds kan er niks geregeld worden en ben ik ruim 85 euro kwijt en heb ik mijn cadeau niet ontvangen.

Bought the large rustic corkbox last year after we moved in to our new apartment and we love it, we're slowly starting to fill it up! It came quick, it looks great and it's well made.

We also rent out our apartment from time to time, so it's always fun to come home and see if any of the guests have put new corks in it.

Well advertising site photos are beautiful but product will not impress you.

Also, this product is overpriced. It just a simple box with plastic screen not glass. There is not some small holes around the box for air circulation it becomes mouldy soon I put some silicon bag there.

Veel negatieve berichten, dus dan ook even mijn positieve! Ik heb vandaag mijn pakket binnen gekregen en ben echt tevreden, hij is super mooi. Minpunt is wel de leveringstijd, ik was 3 weken verder. Kreeg wel keurig bericht na mijn mail. Wel prijzig, maar tevreden met mijn cadeau!

Ordered a cork box which came in ahead of scheduled delivery time. Customer service was excellent and responsive after I had placed the order and was worried it wouldn’t come on time. I was able to get express shipping and it arrived in about 3 days from date of order. The box was beautifully wrapped and I was really happy with it. I would order here again!

Fast delivery, top quality wood, and beautiful packaging. Would highly recommend as a present or for collecting your own corks (surprisingly very fun!).

It’s also handmade, so the price actually seems really good.

It is overpriced already but then I received a bill from UPS for duty of $46.27. These days most companies have arranged their shipping so the duty does not apply. They advertise shipping to Canada but do not advise you of the duty charges. Very disappointing and I recommend Wayfair, Etsy or anyone else.

I was very disappointed with my experience.

This order was for a time-sensitive birthday gift and still waiting for it. The delay was caused by production issues on the company’s side, but this was not disclosed at the time.
Instead, I was told the order was being prepared and ready for dispatch, which later turned out to be inaccurate.

While a small partial refund was eventually offered, it did not reflect the inconvenience or the impact of the delay.

Customers deserve clearer and more honest communication, especially when delays are due to internal production issues and the order is for a special occasion.

AVOID unless you dare to take a risk. No idea if this site is a scam, I am assuming it is as I placed an order on the 29th December and still haven't received my item. Customer Service is absolutely shocking and I'm giving up on expecting the parcel to arrive...

I ordered two items—one as a gift and one for myself. Even though I placed the order well in advance on January 4, 2026, and the estimated delivery time was 3–5 business days, the order still hasn’t shipped after 10 days. No shipping details have been provided, and despite emailing customer support three times, I haven’t received a single response.

As a result, the gift will not arrive on time, which is extremely disappointing.

At this point, I hope it arrives at all, because I am wodering if this site is a scam.

Don’t usually write reviews but feel the lack of care here needs to be called out. Ordered a cork box as a Christmas present for my elderly relative. Instead of being delivered to the delivery address no attempt was made to deliver to the house, and instead taken to a collection point over 2 miles away. This resulted in an elderly person walking this distance to pickup the parcel when I’d paid for delivery to a specific address. Response from cork box was that this was not for them to deal with and that it was the couriers fault, even though I was a customer of the cork box not the courier. Total lack of customer service, and not to mention the fact I’d paid for express home delivery but I never got a home delivery!

Ordered a wine box for my daughter’s bridal shower. The box and etching are beautiful and delivery was very quick. They also customized the date with the month written in full instead of numbers (e.g. May vs 05). Would definitely recommend.

I purchased the Map box for an anniversary, showing where my wife and I were married. I put in the correct address and it all looked good on the order screen, but when it arrived the Map marker/pin was in the wrong spot, so it has some how wandered between that image and completion, they even acknowledged that I did enter the correct address. Their offer was to do a new one for $50USD, which in itself is expensive even if it wasn't to fix an error. On the positive side, their incorrectly etched box did arrive promptly!
