Grumpy Goblin are now my go to for MTG cards and events.
They don’t charge extra and their prize pool for prerelease is generous. Drinks and snacks are decently priced, the staff are friendly, and the dog likes to say hello.

Great customer service and atmosphere
Tim behind the counter was informative welcoming and just plain friendly. Anything I ask about was explained well and helpfully, the same goes for the other customers in at the same time, greeted with a warm welcome and helped with all of the questions they had. Lots of items on display/available and the play space has plenty of tables and chairs
